If using with cameras connected to their cloud service then no problem. But if it needs portforwarding, then need to use vpn

Just to confirm your Advance Flashing is to Tele2 or other firmware?
*
Advanced flashing is required to actually change your firmware. The firmware on the second flash can be any firmware you want to update.

The logo is Huawei but it is carrier specific firmware without any branding on it. smile.gif

I make a mistake previously in which I branded the TELE2 as Telia. Only corrected it now.

Do you have issues with the Telia firmware? 21.316.01.00.07
*
Telia firmware is fine, can make call and all that, but i will go for LMT for time being, because it provide more network info and telephone functionality works better than other firmware.

Thanks! I will put that in the remark.

Do you still have the connection pause when making calls?

Got it. I just need some courage to start doing it. laugh.gif
Assuming if I really brick it, any chance to unbrick it? *touch wood*

LMT doesn't allow you to change band from UI but it will show a very comprehensive signal status. smile.gif

Return it.

As for a more practical suggestion, play around with frequency and try to place it at a better spot for signal reception.

Well, it depends how severe is the brick. It is not an easy router to brick laugh.gif

Try the basic method and see if it can change your firmware version, only use the advanced method if the basic method fails to update the firmware.

Hi Sifu,

For those who expert with VPN to bypass the p2p throttled speed,  just curious do you guys facing the facing issue like me ?

If I turn off the VPN and perform the speed test, I can get around 10-15Mbps for download & upload. However, when the VPN is on, the speed will be only around 2-4Mbps for download & upload.

The only reason why I turn on the VPN now is because I want to download the torrent movie file. By right if I getting full speed, the file download per second should be around 1-2mb per second, but now only 200-600kb per second.. but still, better than if I turn off the VPN, which will be capped at 1-5kbps...

I am using FinchVPN Premium by the way... per month is  $ 3.86 USD
For free version the quota will be 3GB usage per month with limited countries selection..
*
Using VPN will reduce your speed. If you use firewall monitor u can see there is almost half your speed kena tarik by vpn.

Dont know la why but im used paid and non paid vpn always the same.

Actually its not that difficult once you know what to do.

In case if you brick it, just re do , re flash again until it success as what Blacktubi said

Whenever you want to change firmware, just perform advanced flashing from my guide. wink.gif

Flash 21.281.99.80.00 then proceed to whatever firmware you want.

That's the key word.... If you know what to do then it won't be difficult.
