Well, have changed my mind, since I'm getting a Yamaha RX-V1800 AV amp, it has the same Anchor Bay upscaling chip as the Toshiba HD-A35 so I guess I don't need to buy a hd-dvd player, can use the amp for this purpose. Don't get me wrong, I'm still keeping my hd-dvd collection. Don't forget that Universal and Paramount didn't say they will join the blu-ray camp yet and they could still release movies for this format since there's a substantial market base. Remember Dreamcast, when Sega decided to call it quits, there were still games for it till last year. Anything is possible.

well the Guitar Hero 2 was PAL...and that was the one that we all got..so maybe another time that Harmnix makes another PAL/region free disc??

My prediction was darn right! I knew they would be clearing off their inventory before announcing to end HD DVD.

Maybe that amount doesn't include XBOX 360's HD-DVD Add On accessory. Just a wild guess.

then after 1-2 years..PS3 will boost sales because the PS3 is the only consoles that support blu-ray player that are cheap among sony blu-ray player nowdays..
