Yeah. Microsoft still loves HD DVD.

FYI, Microsoft is not interested in Blu-ray add on. They are absolutely going for the idea of online video distribution and download. Why buy and when you can download?

Anyways, anyone here has got the money & time to download an entire movie from LIVE ?

Anyone got a stack of HD DVD films want to give away... that would be super awesome.

Anyways, TS who loved HD DVD should open a thread about Microsoft's new Xbox Live Movie Distribution. It's like super cool - no need hassle to go to shop and buy. But you have to wait super long for it to download.

Hmm that'll only be the TV titles ie TV series and made for TV movies. They're the only ones that uses 1.78:1 aspect ratio (ie 16:9).

Most cinematical releases uses 1.85:1 and 2.39:1 aspect ratio.

Even now, so many on bt, also lazy to download .... still can't beat rm10 dvd purchase over counter.. convenient.. hehehe.

Download is cheaper and more convenient than buying over counter. You don't have to go out, just stay at home, click the download button that it. Next day, you'll get your movie and can watch. tongue.gif
