Installed vista and Play Warcraft 3 Frozen throne with no problem at all.. Just try Limewire on vista but did not noticed any changes in download neither slower nor faster.. just the same.. Download rate depends on how strong your connection is...

An update from winhec: QUOTE With all the Microsoft-created confusion out there around when - and even whether - the company plans to deliver the first service pack (SP) for Windows Vista, it's nice to see some concrete proof that Vista SP1 does exist.
The WinFuture.de folks managed to grab a quick snapshot of a machine running a build of Vista SP1 during one of the Rally talks at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) in Los Angeles this week. Plain as day, it says: "Windows Build 6001 Service Pack 1, v113.") Source: http://blogs.zdnet.com/microsoft/?p=447Snapshot : http://www.winfuture.de/news,31801.htmlJust wondering why Vista SP1 has the same build number (6001) as that of Windows Longhorn Server. Besides, if you have not noticed, previous service pack that Microsoft released does not increase the prefix build number if it is being installed. But, for Vista, it is increase from 6000(RTM) to 6001(SP1). Itching to know the reasons, I did some research. Maybe this could be the reason? QUOTE Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1, codenamed "Fiji") will ship simultaneously with Windows Server "Longhorn" and will include a new kernel version that makes that release up to date with the kernel version in Longhorn.
