I intend to order vitamin and dietary supplement (2/3 bottle) from New Zealand for personal use, I checked thru http://tariff.customs.gov.my/,  table show got sale tax 5%.
will I be charged for that tax? my order is around RM300.

below RM500 (inclusive shipping) no tax, personal use only

Hi fellas,

Been trying to find out if we can import lighters (metal kinds not plastic) into Malaysia? Kastam is closed for the weekend so thought I'd ask around here first. Can't seem to find a direct answer based on the searches.

Thanks in advance!

I need urgent help here guys. Hope someone can help me. I have bought nail polishes from US in bulk and it have been detained by the custom at sepang. They require me to apply for permit before they can release my package. But the problem is I so not have any registered company thus I can't apply the permit. Anyone knows what I need to do?? I'm stuck here *sigh*

Shouldn't unless the items fall under some special rule, i.e. pharmaceutical products, cosmetics, blablabla.

But big packages tend to get those customs officers suspicious on the declared value, so don't be surprised if they call you down to prove what's in the box and to ask for receipts.

I saw many on Ebay, you might want to order there your self, if you dont have creditcard, you can always apply for cimb debit card for you paypal payment. Best to opt for something with tracking, it might take a month. Even from China might take 2 months, depends of your shipping service, EMS Shipping is as stated, slow. Happy online shopping.
