I'm travelling alone so I guess it's better for me to just get a sim. The last time I went there I rent a pocket wifi.

I looking for good connection and many data.

I just came back from Japan using this SIM card. I could only say lucky that my booking on the pocket wifi was not successful. Cheaper and overall speed ok. No need to carry extra hardware maybe due to my phone is dual sim.

Recommended this SIM card provider since 3-4 months back. I have used it in Tokyo and it's good.

Cannot vouch for other countries but if it's Japan, the provider is Softbank and it's very reliable.
