I also know of guys who do the same. This is not a "gender biased" sort of thing, it's certain people's character. It could be men or women, but yes, there are certainly people like that.

And secondly... I will say, travelling to Japan is affordable and not exactly cheap. It can be done cheaply, but also same - it may not be enjoyable because you're restraining yourself from spending.

Well... then don't let them be in charge of the itinerary. Object to it, or you can take charge. And besides, if it's too much shopping and doesn't suit some of you - split up and go elsewhere. My definition of holiday: Don't have to be stuck to the hip everyday. It's nice to take time off the group and wander on your own, then meet again for dinner or something. It won't be pleasant if one is tied up to the group and have no freedom to visit the places they want or do the things they're keen on.

However on the contrary! If the members of the group gives no contribution (no research, no opinion, follow majority, doesn't really care etc), then naturally they have no right to complain on the itinerary arranged because they didn't do much to begin with     so if you're not really happy with the itinerary, try to talk it out/ compromise. Otherwise, just split up on some days. The girls can do their shopping and the guy(s) can go sight seeing.

If it's not doable in the group but the individual would like to pursue, go ahead. If all of you can read Kanji, it's already an advantage there so don't worry too much about splitting up.

Hi guys i'm going to to Tokyo for the 3rd time and my partner was 1st time.

Whole trip consider 7 full days and going to both disneyland and disneysea plus 1 day tour to Fuji tour (include Lake Kawaguchi Maple Corridor, Oshino Hakkai and Gotemba Premium Outlet).

City Area include Asakusa, Ueno, (Daikanyamacho & Shibuya), (Omote-Sando & Harajuku), Shinjuku, Tsukiji, Ginza, Odaiba and Akihabara.

Was wondering is it too pack for the trip? i already removed Ikebukuroo and also Roppongi because Ikebukuroo was too far and Roppongi basically nothing much to view. Thinking to skip Ginza and add on Tokyo Station.

Another question, should i buy 72 hour pass for first 3 days(Sunday-Tuesday) 3 days (Disneyland cost me 400 Yen 1 way, and fuji tour was start from shinjuku cost me 200 yen 1 way total 2000 yen compare to 1500 yen)  and last day 24 hour pass. Total 3800 yen per person exclude airport transfer and JR transport if require

You are absolutely correct. Stuff made are base on the product specification and not where it is made. If a product can only support 110V but the charger does 220V only, then of course there is a problem. Normally the product will have the information of what voltage it supports.

When I was still in Tokyo, I think Panasonic was selling a hair dryer where you can switch between 110V and 220V so you can bring it to most part of the world.. But that is one damn expensive hair dryer.

is the item in Gotemba cheaper againts Airport or within Tokyo Area? any shop sell lucky bag/Fukubukuro ?

If I were to go to outlet shopping it will definitely for a day. Can just go to Tokyo Station, take a 45 mins bus ride to Kisarazu and basically spend a day there.

i just went back from Osaka premium outlets which the Coach selling Fukuburo around 80k yen but worth 250-300k yen product including 3 bag, 2 wallet and 1 small bag stuff.

Counter clockwise since you will have higher chance to see Mt. Fuji from the lake cruise around afternoon, rather than much later which might have more clouds.

I went during spring time and was staying a night in a ryokan in Gora. So naturally, counter clockwise makes sense for me instead of clockwise.
