I need to praise Japan.

There is no single dirty car in Tokyo.

Especially taxi, All taxis are like newly polished, glossy and shiny.

More like everything is super clean and neatly organized.
We were super impressed as well rclxms.gif

Most Japanese dont buy the phone.
U sign contract with telco company the you get the phone. Once you end contract you give back the phone back to telco company.
That why back of phone got Au / NTT / Docomo. It belongs to company property.

user posted image

Unless you very very rich or phone collector then only buy the phone.

Nice...! laugh.gif I envy a little because it's such a nice long trip.
By the way, no Ginza? You can do Ginza on Day 10 since it's a weekend. Mentioned this a couple of times - if you go Ginza around noon on weekend, you'll see this: http://makunouchi-japan.com/lifestyle/taki...estrian-heaven/

I'm still in Tokyo until now. Still no snow. Yes autumn almost finished. Not the best autumn time already.
*
Rare chance to see snow. Even if it does, likely to be in mid/ late Dec or Jan/ Feb.
Last year it did snow a little for awhile in Tokyo, but since I arrive the next day, only saw remnants of snow along mountain areas when I rode the train from Narita to city.

Ya been following thread and saw you mentioning about Ginza weekend biggrin.gif , btw my day 10 is Saturday which I need go to airport for 5pm flight. But after various consideration I would prefer go for Akiba weekend and place Ginza together with Tsukuji fish market and Odaiba since these area are close together I can slowly enjoy walking around. I should have make my trip longer than 10 days because there are lot more things to do in Tokyo and nearby area biggrin.gif .

Erm if I just only one day at Nikko I won't be able to cover Lake Chuzenji? Which mean I should get only city pass instead of all area pass?
*
You can do it, but you will have to spend less time in the Nishisando and you'll have to reach there early too. It's quite unpleasant to rush this though. It will be better to stay a night there and split the days with one day for Nishisando and then another day to complete Chuzenji, Ryuzu falls and Yumoto Onsen. If you're only going to the shrines, just the city pass is enough, if you're going for Chuzenji as the furthest point, you can just take the city pass and then top up for the remaining ride to Chuzenji (You can ask for more detailed and updated instructions when you buy the pass in Asakusa Tobu station, they can speak fluent Mandarin and simple English if you need it)

I see. If on your last day you're going to Tokyo Station, then the other nearby area of interest (within walking distance) is the Imperial Palace. Consider spending 2 hours or so visiting the place - it's big.

It's alright, there's never "enough time" when it comes to Tokyo. That's why you'll need a 2nd, 3rd, 4th. 5th... etc trip laugh.gif

And oh, you have quite a few things planned for Shinjuku's night activity. Consider the fact that you'll be tired after the long day at Hakone and cut down to 1 or 2 places.
