One total lost at Sendai Tohoku earthquake. The rest are 6 - 7 magnitude earthquake at Tokyo / Chiba / Saitama and car was parked at those automatic system carpark. Quake so strong until car fall off from car holder inside the car parked system.

I also total lost a car while driving on slippery winter road. It almost kill me. Since this accident, I no longer driving when winter time.
I got a house which is 1 hour away from Tokyo City but address still Tokyo. House installment was Rm16000 per month (convert Yen to RM)  X 40 Years installment
House size similar to sinchan ...double story houses with car park.

But earthquake shiok wor. biggrin.gif

I encounter a 6.8 earthquake at Fukushima in 2014. 11th flr hotel at night. Feeling like sleep in a baby craddle. The rest is small tremor in tokyo.

How much house tax you have to pay every year?

Wah you sure no typo?? If true that is really a nice big house. For the price you pay, you can already buy house in Shinjuku or Shibuya. I do dabble a bit in property in Tokyo as it is one of the easiest country to buy house apartment for foreigner. Can get a cheap apartment for about RM200K and rent it out for about RM2000/month. Of course as you mention you need to have some cash ready if they need big refurbishment to the apartment.

Yes, but not in central Tokyo. I know an agent there, so he got lubang to all this nice apartments. If you buy it and not live in Japan, you will need to fork out cost like agent to handle rent collecting and accountant to handle your taxes.
So much cheaper than in HK. RM5 mil can only get me a 500sqft apartment here unless I go really outskirt.

Anyway, this is travel forum and not property investment. smile.gif

Age 42 liao Sure can afford that house. Wife helps paying another half. Means each person just RM8000
Got 2 children and both also high school, must have 5 rooms houses.

Another question,

What's the deal with many tiny bar in Tokyo that only seat like 5 people?

Is the owner try to make a living or just for fun?

Get from others bro
Maybe others are slightly expensive but I am getting a refund from them as I have proof that they probably didn't pay NTT Docomo and the speed is throttled

Planning to go Mt Fuji for one day trip

1) Travel by bus from Shinjuku, 1750 yen per person one way, this should be the best option?

2) Once there, planning to go Chureito Pagoda and Mt Kachi Kachi, later probably walk around Lake Kawaguchiko, apart from that anything else worth to visit?

3) The fujikyuko bus around there can only buy the daily pass? No option to just pay according to where i want to go?
