Jr pass is only worthwhile if you do a round trip from tokyo to other cities. not my cup of tea to do round trips.

Hi all, is it worth it to go for a one day trip to Gotemba Premium Outlet from Tokyo?
*
Not worth it. Unless you are a shopaholic. Prices are expensive too due to the exchange rate. Better use the money to sight see around Hakone.

I did my calculations right down to individual train tickets,  between a pasmo/suica vs the subway pass. it's cheaper with the pasmo.

the three day pass is only worth it if you take alot of rides but you won't actually when the places you visit can be segregated by zones and walking distances.

also the pasmo can be used for luggage storage which I will be using when I travel from Tokyo to hakone for a day trip.

Can come to Ashikaga, Tochigi. I am staying there. I am going back from KL once a month.

Hi.. I want to ask about romance car booking..

It has purchase and booking options. If we pick a booking instead of purchase, is our seat secured (since
we are not paying for it yet)?

And for booking, can we pay when we are about to board the train.. I mean, it should be safer this way, right
because we havent paid for it yet. Therefore, in case we arrive late, we just ignore the booking and purchase
a romance car ticket from the counter..

Reminds me of my first Duffy purchase.

Looking at the crowd holding the plushie, wondering what's so special.

Visit the shop, bought Duffy and his sailor costume

Yes, Google Maps work perfectly fine in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. It was a lifesaver for a solo female traveller like me.

I do think that it depends on which local telco they use. For us there are maxis, digi, celcom etc. For Japan, I notice most use SoftBank.. which is really good over there.
...then again it might just be signal strength and they just switch which telco has the best signal at the time..
