QUOTE(_bib_ @ Jul 12 2017, 10:33 PM)

Oil life balance is 5400 which I assume quite bad since millage is just 1060. I really tried light footed driving (cruising 80 to 110kmph, took inner left lane whenever possible) and traveled routes though some congestion, but not really heavy traffic.

Will complain on the dashboard rattling again when due for service.

EDIT:
Fuel consumption below my expectation, meter info shows 12.5 L per km. As mentioned I really control on light foot and let the car roll up to speed (maybe I'm treating this FC wrongly). I'm on RON95 since day 1 (last night marked the 3rd time fueling up).

The oil life estimate won't so accurate at the beginning...just leave it to run more...after 3-4k should be more close to it

Thanks for the tips.

Can advise if I should continue on tendering the throttle? Don't mean to say I'm the "revving gang", just consider myself an average driver who mostly tend to have some hurry intend...

I really don't enjoy the deliberated and tiring foot trying to control throttle every time I drive. It's not really about fuel consumption, it's more about the engine being new. I just heard hear-say that I should drive gently for the first few Ks.

after 1000km no need to gentle already bro. on the oil life its due to congestion, also if u waiting in the car with engine on it will decrease oil life.

just drive as who you are... biggrin.gif

anyway, the minder's oil life can serves as an indicator of how your car been through for that past period prior to your service, so if you notice your oil life shortening quicker...n u wish to keep it longer back...drive gently...
its basically a reflection of how you been driving...so be true to yourself tongue.gif

Hahahaha. Pretty much mate.. lol. The one that's bothering me the most is like a scrapping whirring sound on the left side of my engine when I drive. Quite obvious if I were to roll down my window slightly. And also starting to hear random rattling here and there in the interior. Jeebuz...

blink.gif never heard this from my car - or I'm not overly sensitive of these sounds - do let us know how you resolve your issues, or what did the SC say?

Latest Waze Beta is out v4.26.0.902 http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/waze/waze-gps...-0-902-release/

I have tested it personally and the reverse camera crash bug has been fixed. Several improvements has been made - new Menu GUI. The previous guide still applies (FAQ, Post#1)

My previous car was the 2011 Honda Civic FD2 Concept M edition.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so I won't answer the styling difference.
In terms of features, the new Civic far outstrips the old one. You only lose the glovebox lights.
In terms of performance, it also far outstrips the old one. Only the top speed is limited to 207km/h. The old FD2 can be driven to 224km/h

Choosing between 1.8, tc & tcp, you can read the 1st post for advice.

Whether you should upgrade... There is a Malay saying, "tepuk dada, tanya selera" wink.gif
