hi,
like to confirm with civic x owner, are your glove box supposed to have dampened effect i.e. open slowly?

Got mine 2 weeks ago I noticed mine doesn't have one as it fall with gravity. And to make more curious, noticed there's a hole on the right side, inside the glove box with something loose not fixed properly.

Hopefully SC can acknowledged this without much a hassle.

Hey man, it is supposed to be dampened. If you've recently changed your cabin filter, it could just be that the SC forgot to reattach the damper or something (apparently the filter is accessed from behind the glove box). Sent my car for the 30k service and this happened to me. Lol. It's just a five minute fix though. Nothing to be too worried about. smile.gif

Hello everyone. Do others also experienced a "krak krak" sound during turning. The sound coming from front left passenger side and it is not really obvious but if you turn off the radio it is quite noticeable. Been hearing this sound for the past two weeks especially during low speed and im not sure what it is. Mileage is around 10k and the car is 1.5tc.

This questions worth another thread, but in general, understand that you get what you paid for (let's not go into scams or things like that). It's commonly know that ceramic coating usually cost around thousands (1k, 2k, 3k some even more). So if you're going for services that's super cheap, you pretty much know what you're getting yourself into.

According to my experience, ask for the following as your consideration point:
1. After sales services (e.g. Do I need your pay if you were to send back and reapply coating)
2. Quality of the product (e.g. How long the coat is going to last or hardness)
3. How are you going to maintain it (e.g. Don't need to care about it? Just use water? Use soap?)

i have get my ride coated @ Ceramic Pro on 3rd of Sep, well, bear in mind that, the coating is unable to protect from stone chips or scratches ( minimum tolerance), although their advertisement was demo'ed based on scratching test ( as viewed on youtube), as advised by the seller, major benefits of coating is: Protection against environmental fallout, permanent adhesion, chemical resistant, high gloss, 9H hardness.... n so on. Also, you got to wash your car at least once in a week, especially after the rain, the water mark will be everywhere on your car when it dries. mega_shok.gif

i did not take picture before & after the coating, but i dont really seeing much difference...

What is the color of your car? Does ceramic pro cover or gives warranty for water marks? That the 1 thing I'm worried about which is water mark since I would be parking my car open area.

Water mark is mineral deposit from rain water, basically having a coating is like having extra layer of clear coat (probably harder than the original clear coat, but eventually will have water mark too if not taken care).

alternatively buy the car wash sponge - by cutting to fit into the end of A pillar. I did mine, it is effective.

It shud be the same place, i have checked thoroughly and even open up the speedometer cover to see where it rattles internally...unfortunately its not that area..its somewhere inside the aircond vent that produce rattle, so when u press on top blower it will stop completely
*
yes. it is somewhere inside the aircond vent, that is the thinnest of the dashboard - i guess some wires is touching it to produce the rattling - try to smack it with your palm of the hand (harder), it may work. I did mine - it works, the rattling sound only come when you are driving on VERY rough road due to strong vibration. To certain extent - now my ride is quiet...

They did not factor in the engine oil / engine oil filter into the final calculation.

1.5
