I have a Saga at home and drive it interchangeably with my TC-P, though the Saga should be older than yours (the BLM one) and is manual. Consumption is better with the Civic actually, and at worst the same as the Saga. That said, if you're looking to get the 1.5 Civics, I've noticed that fuel consumption varies greatly based on driving style. If you drive with a light foot, or even a moderate foot, you'll get great FC figures but if you floor it from traffic light to traffic light then gone la. Hopefully that gives you some idea la, of the fuel consumption.
