Need some advice on the tinting where option as following : 1)Huper optic : C70 front and the rest is C40 2)3m crystalline 3) raytech Huper optic and 3m price are almost the same around rm1900 I am also considering on the brands for tint, I guess i would go with Huper Optik, together with the ceramic pro coating, it has a bundled price for both.

Collected 1.5tcp white today. Booked early aug. actually can get earlier but got some personal problems which delayed my loan application.
Overall satisfied! But problem the car is very low. Go up my house slope and got cutted under.

QUOTE(isr25 @ Sep 7 2017, 03:28 PM) Sorry to see this damage... seems like you might've hit a kerb somewhere. Not sure if you can repair it though... replacing the rim would cost RM1k+ from Honda iinm - but you can find a number of people selling their stock rims due to them buying a new set of aftermarket wheels. Thanks for your reply, appreciate it. I just contacted one tyre shop in klang, and they say, they do help on rim repairing, cost around 100 - 150, and the rim should be looking as fresh as new after repairing & polishing, gonna visit the shop on this Sat to check out.

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Sep 7 2017, 05:49 PM) skimming literally polish off some metals on the damaged part. skimming it will slightly weakened the rim(depends how badly damage it is) i went to the shop just now, the staff there was telling me the same, it would slightly weakened the rim in terms of quality n they will do it on the entire rim, instead of just fixing the damaged part. If just to polish the damaged part, the scar will be obvious. Now i m considering if i shall go n get a new rim replaced.

QUOTE(pilot123 @ Sep 11 2017, 04:57 AM) fellow fc owners who have done ceramic coatings, may i humbly request you guys to post reviews about them ? looking fwd to get ma ride coated. so many brands/shops/services out there. i have get my ride coated @ Ceramic Pro on 3rd of Sep, well, bear in mind that, the coating is unable to protect from stone chips or scratches ( minimum tolerance), although their advertisement was demo'ed based on scratching test ( as viewed on youtube), as advised by the seller, major benefits of coating is: Protection against environmental fallout, permanent adhesion, chemical resistant, high gloss, 9H hardness.... n so on. Also, you got to wash your car at least once in a week, especially after the rain, the water mark will be everywhere on your car when it dries. i did not take picture before & after the coating, but i dont really seeing much difference...

QUOTE(Sitting Duck @ Sep 12 2017, 08:02 AM) What is the color of your car? Does ceramic pro cover or gives warranty for water marks? That the 1 thing I'm worried about which is water mark since I would be parking my car open area. silver color. nope, i did ask the guy how come the rain mark n water spots are so obvious when the car dries after the rain, he told me that that is why we have to wash the car at least once in a week all the while i thought coating would keeps the car clean...did not do enough homework before doing that
