since both has it speciality...
But at last choose sonic gear EVO 5 coz

sound still not bad if compare to the RM175 edifier

EVO 5 for RM155? maybe that price is considered cheap in Penang
Anyway, glad you happy with your speaker. BTW, does your speaker produce muddy bass or humming sound out of the woofer? My EVO 7 does, with certain songs (is this normal, compro?) . I wanted to get myself an EVO 5 too last time, but they only had white colour available, so had to pay extra RM20 to get EVO7

The bass is excellent

where your location cyew86 ? can send for a check! if really got problem will repair in 1 hour at my office, more than 1 hour will change you a new set!

So far didnt get complain or status from dealer or my warranty department.

lol, it's ok compro, i tested my fren's evo 3, and both have the same problem. i think it's normal. thanks anyway btw, i already sent in once for rma in kelana jaya, the woofer broken 7 days after i purchased it, but it never give me problem after they exchanged the unit for me.

My Evo 5 oso have muddy bass and humming sound from the woofer when i hear rock song but when i close the bass volume less than half then the sound
become better...
I think bass volume should not more than half else when u hear song u juz hear the bass sound "bong bong bong" == Juz my opinion

KL price around RM139 , but penang due to transport fee increase so the price will be slightly higher.

yeah, but if u tune it less than half, the LED won't work
Compro, u shud address issue to the main company, the LED shudnt juz react based on the bass (and even if it shud, dun make the customers crank up the volume too high juz to get it to work), but overall volume or like those in the HIFI, the equalizer wud still work even if u mute the speaker (i dunno how they do it tho, juz looking at the way my HIFI equalizer works ) and yeah, the sound goes brmmm brmmm for certain songs but for some others such as Eurobeat, it wud be thumping sound, which is nice.

hope this is 1 of the feedbacks that mite help SG to improve

the last i saw, it is rm129 in lowyat for EVO5, i got my EVO7 for rm149 in PC FAIR, free headset, but the speaker was broken 7 days later lucky they are efficient when it comes to RMA, sent in for RMA in kelana jaya, and they replaced it immediately

My equalizer still can work when i put at half or less than half abit ..
When i buy the promoter say the price is cheaper than normal price at PG
And the set is from KL so it need transport fee charge.NO free gift given though but SWISSPAC---The shop name where i buy my EVO 5 is well known with their GOOD after sale service..They change anything faulty(under warranty) very fast..so the price higher

the Equalizer acctually not the same as HIFI, EVO series only detect or follow the Bass Power. This is due to costing is a lot of different if use the HIFI type. Not really sure the EVO can use the HIFI type or not, but i will ask the product manager to confirm!!

Normally i tune the bass to 70%(my preference) then when play hotel california , the volume only need to tune 15-25% the equalizer move edi.
