EVO 7 user here, I wouldn't say the quality is the best, but worth the money I am paying for. The woofer gives humming sound, but the treble is good. And yeah, I do agree that SG still need to improve alot, but they already made a good start.

Sigh!!!  i think bashing other brand's speaker is pointless, constructive opinion is more welcomed here, to help Sonic Gear to produce a better quality product. i wud prefer to see other brands' speakers users share their opinion abt their speakers here, and suggest on how to rectify the weaknesses of Sonic Gear products |

EVO 5 for RM155?
 maybe that price is considered cheap in PenangAnyway, glad you happy with your speaker. BTW, does your speaker produce muddy bass or humming sound out of the woofer? My EVO 7 does, with certain songs (is this normal, compro?) . I wanted to get myself an EVO 5 too last time, but they only had white colour available, so had to pay extra RM20 to get EVO7 This post has been edited by cyew86: Apr 7 2007, 12:17 PM |

lol, it's ok compro, i tested my fren's evo 3, and both have the same problem. i think it's normal. thanks anyway
 btw, i already sent in once for rma in kelana jaya, the woofer broken 7 days after i purchased it, but it never give me problem after they exchanged the unit for me. |

well, depends on products i guess. EVO3 was selling cheaper than lowyat last year. and i got my EVO7 at the same price as lowyat with free headphone. so how is ur edifier m3300? i've been hearing lotsa good review about that speaker, if not because of my low budget, i would've have go for that also

i think ALL IT HYPERMART selling Sonata radios, but no pricelist for VALs ... maybe u can call them to ask? darn, u infected me, i fell in love with Sonata 500c, but with that pricetag, its most unlikely i wud buy 1

i bought sonic gear evo7 last year at rm149 with free headset, but lowyat selling at rm145 i think. this year my fren bought the same model for rm139 but lowyat selling at rm130
 its in the price list |

my point is not about the price drop from last year, i am just stressing out that the price in pc fair is higher than the price quoted in lowyat every year
