coolandy,I agreed with you.Many sifus or maybe half tank sifus will try to pretend to give advice for free to get attention.When one take the bait,one will have to pay through their nose and and probably end up getting very little.Either setting up a BH or buying accessories according to their advices and they will make it like they are trying to help you getting the products but at the same time doing high mark ups thinking that one will have to pay for it cos more advices needed.Check and compare prices before buying and not all items are useful.Always remember even the best sifu will not reveal all.The best will be kept for themself.That is human nature.Do your homework to learn,watch those birds flying patterns ,understand their needs ,there is no shortcut to success.Cheers

I guess the best is to get a well-know consultant to help you and advise you. Like what they always say consult yr doctor 1st b4 u start any medication.

So surf the net and get the most well known and famous one ,you won't be wrong right? at least they have their Names.

Just pay them and sit back and relax and just wait.The time come just harvest .They are more than willing to take care for u from a-z . No hassle no trouble just enjoy yr free time on other thing.

Don't waste time DIY If you don't know .If you want to drink milk u don't have to buy a cow, go to supermarket and buy a packet.

If u don't know about DIY farm just pay consultant to do it ,my advise is to get a well known one the more famous the better.

hi guys...im a new farmer here...as what ive read through until page 32(took me 2 days to read it,tho i wanted to continue till page 50),things got heated up and im fed up of it and quickly came to the last page to post. neway, i think i PM'd seeseng b4 regarding my house farm.i promised him photos of the house which i didnt do yet.sorry coz ive been busy lately to settle other issues. anyway the farm is a standalone one.wooden type.i DIY all of it with my father. Took some internal pics but its not here with me now...i have a lot to improve onto the house.mainly the temperature and the entrance opening.

btw, pasar road there selling AMP cums with USB port.so u guys no need to buy player and AMP.this is 2 in 1.costed me ard MYR180.

Unless you seal all the gap in between all woods otherwise c'ventilation u can forget of success. Heat n temp are the important factors of good farm.

Seal too many no ventilation no movement of air also die. Good luck!

Jabatan Perhilitan is the wildlife department of Malaysia....they control all the wild animal population,
once the building renovation approved by city council, we cud approach perhilitan to enquire further bout licencing procedure for swiftlets

My last visit to the Perhilitan Kedah, their feedback was our govt, is currently encouraging more entrepeneurs to venture into swiftlet farming...

check with the perhilitan ppl...they give free good consult....altho not as good as the PROS in here,but at least something to start with. ive checked the bird calling i have with the perhilitan guy.he said mine not so good and what he told that,govt do provide equipments and resources but u gotta write them letters and they will make decision on it.

I use a chicken farm humidifier for my farm and realise the it wet the surrounding floor area. The water will then seep to the floor below and the nesting plank.
Is it normal that the humidifier will wet the surrounding area and if it does how do I overcome it. I have place the humidifier into a 4' X 4 water tank' but the mist still wet the floor. Any good suggestions?
