drool.gif  drool.gif which/ what shop in Japan recommended for tools shopping?

Akiharabara. Come out from the station, on the way walk to the main street, there is a building on the left. This whole building have tools, electrical and electronics shop. You can get 100% what you need in there. Don't go on weekend. Some shop close.

There is also some shop at the main street and the opposite behind the main street. You need a day to search around.

Some tools shop that are more pro require some local to bring you there. It is outskirt of tokyo.

You want powertools, not that place la. Their powertools expensive. For powertools, need to go outskirt. They have like Homedeopt, US.

But manual tools, spanar, sprocket, screw driver, fasterner etc, plenty.

Material for small project.

Our hardware shop can go 1 side. biggrin.gif

Makesure you spare 2day for that place.

This is just a small shop only. The whole building got 2 floor and more than 20 shop. After finish this, crossover the street. Another whole role shop at there.

The false report scandal ?

Hey guys back again, haven't gotten a drill yet, good thing though, turns out now I need to drill 4x 10mm holes about 8cm in for concrete fasteners to hang my pull up bar.

So I'm now looking for a rotary hammer drill, or do I really need it?, would a regular impact drill with 13mm max chuck be able to do the job if I get decent 10mm masonry bit?

For most cost effective solution I'm looking at the Okatz PRH8090 rotary hammer drill (3 function), the Stanley STEL503K, or the Skil 13mm Impact Drill.

I'm now forgoing screw function since I usually do by hand anyway and I don't have a lot of things to screw now that I think about it... if I'm really interested I can always get a dedicated one later down the road.

Good thing didn't follow impulse and buy whatever I liked 2 weeks ago. Now used head abit and can save tons. Man the racun of tools.

it just disintegrate itself by making weird noises. out of 10 discs, 3 became like this

i observe this always happens with disc that have metal rings pressed in the middle

this is the thinnest cutting discs

that's why i prefer to use the GWS12-76 to cut bolts and screws nowadays. the discs are very sharp and durable. i still havent gone through my 1st disc yet. LOL... and i have plenty, i mean REALLY A LOT of the 76mm discs in stock. i hope i can finish them before past its expiry dates
