Just about to masuk new house and wanted to keep a set of tools for the household.
Also mainly usage for the 1st few weeks is to assemble some IKEA stuffs and drill some holes for photo frames and wall racks.

Any opinion for this?

I seen that set too. It looks cheap in quality but for 300 bucks, you're getting a machine. So, it really depends what you want.

If you're looking for something reliable, better get some other brand's hand tool like stanley and bosch, etc for drilling machine.

hello all, need some recommendations in getting a drill.
basically i just use it to drill on the concrete/tiles for toilet hanger, curtain bracket, etc... (mainly on concrete)

Worx orange color is for DIY.
Worx green color is for PRO.

Bosch blue color if for PRO.
Bosch green color is for DIY.

Is worx brand reliable? Like not so famous in malaysia

worx is mainly for DIY.
Review from amazon UK & US seems to be ok.

Worx does have some unique tools but I don't think its available in Malaysia.
However in Malaysia its not so popular, the price also on par with other DIY brand like black&decker or stanley.

I have been using China's brand for 6 years, no problem so far. Can drill hole thru tiles and concrete. Mainly for home DIY, probably max 10 holes per day and few times a year.

Buyers should know, it is not for heavy duty and dont use for whole day like drilling 50 holes per day because it cannot tahan prolong heat. If you know its limit, can last many years.

how's the price diff between tmall worx and local agent? alot of markup locally?

Well, for something that costs 400 & above, normally about RM100 difference between Malaysia and Tmall price, excluding transport.
Big saving comes when Tmall or worx doing sales.

Now Tmall worx official store is doing 11.11 pre-order sale...
save 100-200 yen for some item (drill, saws) on promo.
Can save more if fulfill some condition and get a aluminum briefcase..hmm...

Btw bosch price, Malaysia still cheaper than Tmall. Now thats the benefit on local manufacturing, finally.

I think the current 11.11 worx promo combo quite worth, 18V compact rotary hammer & drill combo.

The compact rotary hammer has 1.2J hammering power. (personally I think only 1J lar...)
The drill is... well, a drill.
Good for new high rise housing that need to drill some holes in their concrete walls.
