QUOTE(ceo684 @ Jan 17 2023, 10:41 PM) Actually if u getting two things, ie a rotohammer and drill driver might as well go full cordless 18V. Coz solo tool not much more for the GBH180Li Is 12v and 18v have big difference?Light duty screwdriver either GSB120Li [enough for most screws in the home] and thats about it for ur purchases..or GSB180Li if u wanna expand to more 18V stuff. If a lot of tile drilling the 120 is lighter but smaller batt, 180 can take big batt for longer runtime. Note: GSR is cheaper but it cant do brickwalls. Good bits like M Shockwave last longer but makes the diff if heavy assy usage. Else buy the gold PH2 bits but use and throw like mechanical pencil leads. For home and diy user |

QUOTE(ar188 @ Jan 27 2023, 10:26 PM) Dagnabbit! That's another good buy! Either you are lucky, or you are plugged in to the industry. My 4+ year review of the M12 Fuel rotary hammer? Absolutely brilliant for holes up to 12 mm, especially when working overhead or the whole day. PS : If you are plugged in to the industry.... I'm looking for a M12 Fuel drill driver so I don't have to carry different batteries when I go offshore, as I already carry the Milwaukee soldering iron. If you can let me know if got jalan please..... ar188 liked this post

QUOTE(locolyric @ Jan 28 2023, 05:47 PM) If you buy just ONE tool, a 12V drill driver e.g. GSB120Li will work great for assembly of ikea furniture and wood/metal/red or clay bricks, or normal tile (eg water heater mounting) drilling [all these can work well]If you plan to expand more than 1 tool, i.e. u wanna hv a rotary hammer eg GBH180Li (concrete/RC wall) + drill driver eg GSB180LI or GSB18V-50 + oscillating multi-tool + work lamp (for dark areas), 18V give more flexibility in terms of tool catalogue, and higher runtime (in case your developer put those hotel grade floor tile as wall tiles, those are extreme edge case whereby I really spent 30 mins per hole to drill 6mm). For 18V, assuming you buy a big battery (3AH or 4AH) + a charger = the solo tool (cordless 18V) is normally not much more expensive than the 230V wired version. However investment in the battery (say one 4AH = 2xx) and charger (say 100, although if speed of charge not important any charger also can lah. QUOTE(ozak @ Jan 28 2023, 07:38 PM) Technically I do use 18V for home DIY kitcab from ikea.. but hardly go beyond 1st gear on 5th speed selector.. so theoretically a 12V would be more compact for kitcabBut I don't mind having more power on tap if needed (18V) This post has been edited by ceo684: Jan 30 2023, 01:00 AM |

QUOTE(Eazy @ Feb 4 2023, 12:32 PM) lavie one is quite good, but i have like 10 -12from them at half price because a few carpenters i know, ordered the wrong bit sizes. some bought 8mm or 6mm for the shank.you should choose 6.35 (1/4) inch if it suits your router.. or else you cant used them. so i offer to buy them half price since i got like 5-6 different size routers |

Where can I get this kind of thick hose ?
Yesterday try to use the Worx hydroshot. Press the trigger and the water shot out from the trigger side and also when directly into the battery. Water flow out from the battery. Thought the inner trigger valve seal spoiled. Open up and then pull the trigger valve out, the hose break. Look like the hose is brittle already from age. That's probably water leak out. Now try to see able to change the hose. But the most expensive is the 4.0AH battery. Might spoiled. ![]() ![]() |

After checking the material of the broken hose and size, I found a similar hose in my working place.
It is a PU material and size Ø10. PU has a lifespan of ~10yrs+. If its contact with oil or chemical, lifespan will shorten. Don't buy this 1st generation of hydroshot. Get the latest 3rd generation. Model something like WU633. It has battery cover protection in case of water splashes, higher pressure, and water consumption. ![]() Test with water pressure. Strong enough the hose grip without the clamp. ![]() Done ![]() |

QUOTE(Snoy @ Jan 10 2021, 10:03 AM) Thank you for the article. Hi bro. Blast from the past. Have you bought you Laser Level tool? Which make/model?While this is good for general knowledge but not everything are relevant to Malaysian market. For example, we have 3/5/many lines models, different battery system, different brands may be some are over claimed. Or put in another way.. Any specific model to recommend? Many hardware shops are selling China unknown brand models, anything good comparing to big brands from the German, American and Japanese? |
