This depend on disc. It will drag your hand in one direction like grinder and if not careful you end up cutting your shiny tile surface. If you opt for this, then better find cheap multi tool, easier to control.

Plenty of masking tapes needed, I guess...

I read some comments, this adapter not suitable as it generates more vibrations!
I will stick to my DIY drill bit that can adjust variable speed to control the cutting...

I want to convert my Bosch GWS 900-100S to M14 so that I can use 5inch cutting wheels. Anyone can give me links to buy the original Bosch 125mm protective guard ?

I think I also need to change the M10 to M14, right? Can anyone also know where I can buy those kits?

Bosch should carry - pos 651 https://www.boschtoolservice.com/my/en/bosc...25-l-3601GA30L0

However, it seems that there's more than just changing the guard alone..also need the associated M14 parts..

I would not recommend this. It is dangerous to modify thing since it is not what it is designed for.

It may look simple for you but you need to know the fact:
1) The 4" grinder has lower motor power than 5" grinder
2) The 4" grinder has higher rpm than 5" grinder

Note that grinder is rated for rpm basically. If you put the bigger disc on 4" grinder, then the linear speed at the edge of cutting disc is much higher than the 5" grinder. You must be careful on disc rated rpm.

Hi, does anyone have experience with those cheap "impact drills" priced under RM100?

I mean just 3 or 4 holes in one use on house concrete (I believe it is softer than industrial building concrete).

Thanks

Yisheng Hardware and Timber in Subang New Village/Shah Alam is clearing stock of Dongcheng 2-mode rotary hammer for RM 119. I believe it is because they are changing to stocking the "Total" brand from now on.

This below image is from the Dongcheng official store on Sh*pee

Close to useless on concrete tbh. You'll be vibrating the neighbourhood for 30 or 40 mins at least. Those impact drill are only good for brickwall.

Any SDS+ rotary hammer will do it in seconds. The above DCA clearance is a very good price. When you use it, it will put a smile on your face.

Thanks for the info and the link, that hammer is really another level already. 👍

And for that clearer term on the brick wall, I think that is my wall condition, not 100% concrete.
