that gsr metal chuck already available in singapore half a year ago? this is made in malaysia and yet we always behind time, only now they release it locally  vmad.gif  ranting.gif

S$750 for GSR + GDX + GST + 3 x 2.0ah batt. that's is really a steal buy compare to malaysia pricing !!!

lucky i managed to score mine cheap cheap previously too...

gdx 18v ec- RM452
gst 18v - RM567
gsb 18v ec (getting this next week ) - RM500
18v 4.0ah x 2 + charger - RM575

total damage : rm2094, i guess not so bad huh..

yup. or was it late last year? can't remember fully. it just came out new that time. no metal chuck GSB available though. your set better la~ my GDX 18V-Li bare tool is not brushless and no speed control selection. And GSR set only come with 2.0mAh slim pack battery coz thats the promo pack. The GDX 18V-EC with 4.0mAh was around S$500 by itself.

Hi all sifu,

Planning to buy a rotary hammer for drilling mainly to install water heater, curtain rails, hooks cloth hanger, etc.... for hotel use.

Looking for 26mm, so far my choice limited to :
1. Stanley SHR263KA = RM 400
2. Hitachi DH26PC = RM 500

Almost want to click to buy Stanley, what other recommendation? Bosch 26mm is quite expensive.

Just went to CSM section 27 this morning, many items to see and itch about.
They don't have Makita tools on display.

Luckily manage to keep the wallet safe, spend less than RM100.

I was surprise to see the loctite so expensive, one small 500gram bottle rm55. blink.gif

Well, can't find smaller bottle there already. End up getting some other brand medium strength treadlock.
RM12 feels much better on my wallet.

Think is a 50gram. Loctite don't have 500g. Accept if for factory use come in tong.

There is wan similar to the loctite and same packaging. Forget the name. Cheaper.

Hi all,
Need your expert suggestion.

I want to get a impact driller to perform some simple DIY tasks for my home e.g. install lack/wall mounted cabinet/curtain track/kitchen & bathroom appliances which need drilling. My budget range is between RM200-300. Any suggestion?

There are too many choices in the market and I have no knowledge to choose the right one for me. Your suggestion is much appreciated. Thank you.

You will need a rotary hammer and not impact drill to drill concrete, tiles etc.
Depends on your budget for home DIYer.

Grade A & B - Bosch, Makita, Dewalt, Hitachi (from RM 450 up)
Grade C : Stanley, MAX etc (from RM 350 up)
Grade D : China's brand - DCA, DongCheng (from RM 220 up)
Grade E : other China's brand (from RM 150 up)

I would suggest you to get Grade C or D, choose the 24mm capability will suffice.

Yup I bought a Stanley STEL503K to do just exactly those stuffs. RM 290 from Lazada after voucher.
A contractor that I engaged to put up a partition wall in my house even used a Boyai rotary hammer from Mr DIY and they work just fine.

How is the performance of the STEL503K?
I initially wanted to get a B&D hammer drill but after researching about the advantages of a rotary hammer drill, I decided to get the latter instead and this is one of the cheapest reliable brands around.
CT Hardware is having quite a good deal I think, for RM329.00 and comes with wall plugs and bit set.

just toy around few new Bosch 18v tools....some of the pricing is so lust.gif drool.gif .

@lucifah, now they bring in the 18v bulldog here...pricing cheaper than amazon shocking.gif got 2 version, ec and non ec
( non ec bulldog pricing with 2 x 18v 3.0ah + charger is so so damn attractive shocking.gif , below 1k )

the 18v led ( look like robot leg one.. ) the pricing is so good ! less than what i would expected... drool.gif

the new vacuum with Automatic start-stop power socket system – ( for convenient power-tool dust extraction connection ) is also very drool.gif .

Maybe they start feeling the heat from all the new dewalt and makita products that start selling here.
I end up making my own master-slave switch to let power tool trigger the vacuum.

Btw, do they have solo tool for the rotary hammers?
I don't need so many battery and chargers.
