Christmas came early this year. Just got my makita from recent black Friday sales. After using Bosch 12v the seem heavy to me. But the power output for 18v rocks!

Thats super cheap comparing to buying individual items here.
Rough estimation
1) Hammer drill RM550
2) Impact Drill RM550
3) Router RM800
4) Charger + 2x 4AH battery RM800

Thats a total of RM2800!!!

Shipping to Malaysia is going to costs a bomb, I estimate about 10kg weight of whole set.

Holy fuark, even buying direct from Makita Taobao can't have that price.

Think about it
Made in China --> Ship to USA --> Pay USA salary --> Ship back to Malaysia

IS CHEAPER than

Made in China --> Ship to Malaysia.

i was looking for torque driver too, since low usage maybe just get a brush version enough already.

need that belt and pouch for my tools too.

still hunting Homedepot, Lowes, or Amazon.

This is next incoming, maybe get a blower locally, since is the cheapest compare to china or US.

it depends on your car manufacturer specification. i think 250 ft lbs is way too much for a wheel lug nut. both my makita and bosch gdx can open the lug nut easily...cos mine tighten with torque wrench at 105 ft lbs.

my makita DTW190RFE rated @ 190Nm max

my bosch GDX-EC rated @ 185Nm max

my new toy arrived

surprised to see at how small this thing is

user posted image

and damn, this thing is NOISY. less than a minute using it and i have ringings in my ear. next time need to wear ear plugs

next, will find a flexible hose large enough for the opening or any of the adapters. the main use for this blower is to help me flush radiator coolant and engine oils. a large engine takes about 30 - 45 mins to drain the coolant and about the same for engine oil. so hopefully with this can reduce the time to half.

Boss use it for flush radiator coolant. Dont know how effective it is for dust blower.

But if you have other uses of Bosch battery, good to consider right?
