I have a Bosch GOP18VEC multitool.
I wonder their body size is the same or not?
*
GOP18VEC body size is 5mm bigger than the 18V grinder. But due to the diff body contour as mentioned by lucifah, the GOP squarish body give a firmer grip feel compare to the roundish smaller 18v grinder body.

u mean SDS+ chuck?

you kenot use SDS or SDS+ or even SDSmax bit to drill wood or metal. i don't think there is even drill bit for them

for normal bit for wood and and steel, u usully will need an adaptor if you plan to use your SDS+ rotary hammer, and set them to drill mode only first

since you already into Makita platform, go with the makita brushless grinder. i like the paddle trigger feature and a slimmer body biggrin.gif

i wish to have a 18v brushless, slim body and with variable speed trigger control angle grinder biggrin.gif

ya it is, thats why i am working to address the issue. i am helping some of the woodworkers to get their hands on imported specis like walnut and white oak..they gotta do more quality work with better finishing on better woods.

This is for wood. I buy from CSM about 5-7 MYR. STAR MAN brand from China I think. Got no from Bosch / Makita in CSM.

Btw, I dont suggest buying the extension chuck for SDS. My experience with extension chuck quite bad. Wobbling damn hard. Not even workable.

This is one of my dissatisfaction with my Bosch tool. GBH2 24DRE

Some grinder can wear and some cannot.

Such grinder away from work, you need to wear.

Some grinder like bench grinder, turning machine or milling mc, not advise to wear glove. Last time kena fark by teacher if wear glove.

I even see my colleague kena hand accident wearing glove on turning mc. Whole arm !
