Just wanna clarify, VoLTE is only available to Postpaid Mega plan or.....any postpaid plan?

I'm still on Gold plan RM80 and my phone is S20FE 5G. I called Celcom CS, and was told that ONLY Mega plan has the VoLTE option.

I need to know if anyone else had VoLTE enabled with any other postpaid plan.

Any postpaid... mine just el cheapo LITE plan. But I did contact them to enable it for me.

so is celcom first package still available

KUALA LUMPUR: Celcom Axiata Bhd expects its fourth-generation broadband cellular network technology (4G) coverage to reach about 97% nationwide upon shutting down its 3G network by year-end.

Chief executive officer Mohamad Idham Nawawi (pic) said that by the end of 2022, Celcom is hopeful to get closer to 97%-98% network coverage from the 93%-94% coverage currently, as the timing to the last 1% network coverage is longer than the first 50%.

“We used to have 2.7 million 3G devices in the Celcom network at the end of 2018, and we have been slowly taking it down at the end of 2019 to about 1.7 million.

“We have about 800,000 users at the end of 2020, ” he said, adding that the balance 800,000 users are not purely individuals.

“There are also machine-to-machine industries that are using the network for meter reading, such as power meters and water meters, to transmit data using 3G devices.

“This is a challenge we need to work on and it is everywhere in the country, ” he said.

I wish the internet n calls plan rm 35 have free hot spot like 10 gb free if can , I just check back Celcom n umobile. Hope Celcom marketing see this comment .

You should tell them that you know other users got their VoLTE enabled and they're on a different plan, that's how I got my VoLTE on Xpax Lite.

Celcom is just trying to trick and lure as much people as they can to hop on the Mega plan by making it seem exclusive before they're forced to enable VoLTE for every users, I seriously hope nobody is falling for their stupid dirty trap.

If they try to trick you, trick them back, because VoLTE is not exclusive.

I called them and was told 24 hours to check again. Is it the same SOP for you as well?
I tried reboot or turn AirPlane mode, still not showing the VoLTE option.

Mine was activated within 15 mins. No need to reboot phone (Mi 9 SE, manual enable VoLTE).

If you use Android phone, sometime, need to manually enable VoLTE mode / option.

Edited - called them 3 times and were denied to activate VoLTE because I'm not on MEGA plan. WTFish?

And funniest of all, iPhone 6s above, any postpaid plan will have VoLTE enabled. As for Android, main requirement is to have MEGA PLAN.

I contact them direct using Twitter. Had a chat, they verify my ID, account number and 15 mins after that, VoLTE appears on my phone. I'm on XPAX Lite only.
