Just want to confirm with existing Celcom MEGA Unlimited M/L pass subscribers that the stated capped speed of 5Mbps for Unlimited M pass and 15Mbps for Unlimited L pass are only for video streaming is it ? If you do a speedtest on Ookla it will still show high speed ?

Although L in "celcom unlimited L" actually means large instead of lightning (celcom unlimited and celcom lightning is two different plan), I would have wished he used different server compared to celcom, and use other speed measuring site instead of ookla

Correct, but it shows that there is no capping in throughput other than streaming services it seems.

I subscribe to Lightning M as I don’t really use much data - WiFi at home & at the office - so can’t test it personally.

Thanks for the video. But as the previous posted pointed out, what the fella said is misleading because he’s in fact using Celcom MEGA Unlimited L, not lightning. But thanks for the video anyway. Safe to say the speed cap is on video streaming site only.

Unlimited 6Mbps mobile data has landed at Xpax. Subscribe to the regular unlimited 3Mbps pass first, then pay RM10 to unlock unlimited 6Mbps mobile data.

Same as Hotlink45..except for FUP up to 100GB permonth..after that..goes back to 3mbps..

Hi guys...just now after midnite...my celcom on android finally have volte...maybe thats the reason for past a week their network down @ upgrade? 🤔

I believe still on limited phone as my huawei nova 5t still hasn't been updated to their supported device.

So far device i have samsung s20+ and my Huawei P30 pro both have volte, eg. S20 when calling people show "HD" icon next to timer counter and P30 show "VoLTE" icon next to timer counter.

But celcom didn't support yet Wifi Calling like my Umobile when connected..

They start enable volte for all MEGA plan

Yeah I'm on postpaid Mega M Lightning Pass

Also got VoLTE enabled on my Poco X3 NFC

Still no VoLTE for me... Cheap Mi 9 SE phone on cheap postpaid & prepaid plan.
