i don't think you can change from celcom postpaid to cheaper xpax, yet maintaining the same phone number. celcom will reject this. u need to port out to other telco first.

I'm on the legacy First Blue plan and my internet speed has been total shite for a long time, averaging 2-3 Mbps at best.

My question is, any idea if this plan has a lower speed cap compared to the newer Mega Unlimited or Lighting plans?

I always believed telcos downthrottle the cheaper plans but I could be wrong πŸ€”

There is no speed cap on Celcom First Blue plan.

By the way, you may want to check out Xpax Postpaid that gives out better value for the money paid.

Hey everyone, need some advice. I'm deciding to get the iPhone 12 with Celcom postpaid Device Bundle or buy the phone upfront and get Yoodo. Just read about VoLTE from this thread which has given postpaid a little bit more advantage for me. What are the other points to consider? Are there differences in connection and speed?

I just realised that when Celcom upgraded Gold Supreme 128 50GB to 70GB,

original 50GB any time for whole-month

now
- split the whole-month quota back to 35GB weekdays and [35GB Γ· 4 weekends]
- AnydayGB +RM10 to also be applicable to Gold Supreme. Previously only applicable to the Gold 80 plan.

Been so long, but ~1 year ago.
Celcom does not allow switch postpaid to prepaid.
The XP postpaid - or whatever the name they keep switching it to - is for new signup, not change of plan.

Port into Celcom for the 1st time. Previously with Maxis, Umobile. First thing I noticed is I can't receive TAC from my banks or credit cards when I do online transaction. Anyone has any clue why? This kind of issue is so 10 years ago...

its for security reason. 72 hours only. if cannot wait, just call bank tell them you do mnp from old telco to the new telco so they can update at their end.
