TL-PA8010P KIT looks good, range about 300 meters. If I want to share my network/internet with neighbour next door or nearby will it support? All those houses use same 1 phase, no 3 phase. So it should able to connect to the next door house right?

Normally powerline network won't work pass your DB.

My review of TP-Link Archer C5400 wireless router.

The firmware of this router improved a lot. Setting up Unifi is way easier as the option is already included in the quick setup.
The addition of the new Homecare suite of features is really practical as well. It now comes with built in Antivirus, a decent QoS engine and a parental control feature.

Performance is great as well, good wireless range and stability. Good firmware coupled with the decent specifications, it offers a great value for the price it is retailing compared to other AC5300 routers in the market.

Read more about it here.

Bought a new C5400 after reading ur guide. Can guide me how to setup iPV6 for this router? I followed the steps on tp link website and received ipv6 ip address but it failed the ipv6 website test.

My internet is just IPV4 only currently so I can't guide you until I am back.

Maybe you can show me your screenshot of the IPV6 page on the webUI.

do you mean the 2 unit of powerline is not getting pair after a period? if like that you can try hard reset both unit by pressing and hold the reset button for 10-15 second and pair them up again.

wow, that a lot of devices, as I know router usually only can support around 10-15 user at the same time, depend on the usage.

If all of them at TP-Link powerline, download the tpPLC app and make sure all of them are added.

I won't be back until next week. sweat.gif

But your config should be working. Make sure you have IPV6 enabled on your computer.

Just wanna ask if the tl-wr841nd ver7.2 can support the following usage:
- hypptv usage or low reso video streaming
- android box streaming
- YouTube videos and surfing mostly
- about 2-3 devices wifi running max concurrently
- 4-5 mobile phones max concurrently.
- no torrents or heavy 4K streaming
I know it's a very old router but just want to do some diy testing.thanks!!

You will need to get TM to configure it for you. I not sure if that feature is supported on C1200.

Interesting, it could be an issue with TM as well. I will try mine again soon.

I have updated my C7 v2 to the latest firmware, and I'm still at a loss on how to configure for Unifi IPv6.

Unless someone tells me (again) to install the beta firmware because TP Link still haven't managed to get IPv6 working properly on this thing *cries in spanish*
