No setup guide necessary to maximize your Time fiber internet speed. You just need to remember to activate and use the 5GHz band to utilize your full 100Mbps speed, plus I'm sure that your 2.4GHz band in your area is very congested as you're living in a condo, so the 5GHz band will be best for you.

Hi guys, i am using TIME as well. Normally using my phone connected to 5Ghz can up to 100mbps no problem, but when i use powerline(as my computer and ps4 cant connect 5ghz), the speed is only around 70-80mbps, I wonder if there is anything i can do to make it stronger.

My condo has a SOHO box (kinda like this: https://is.alicdn.com/img/pb/248/723/708/708723248_743.JPG ) and the modem is placed inside it. Around the house there are 3 Ethernet ports.

The thing is, I can only use one of those ports since only one can be connected to the modem. The technician said I can get a router to enable all three ports around the house (basically modem -> router -> ethernet ports inside the soho).

My question is:
- Is this correct?
- What router should I get? I need something small and can support 100mbps connection. I don't need wifi since I have a router for that?
- Would having these routers make my connection degrade?

Thanks for the help. I'll gladly explain more if it's confusing.

Probably just extending from your current DB.

Anyway, powerline is working even on my 3 phase power as they share the same neutral. Newer PLC works on 3 phase.

I just bought TP-LINK TL-PA4010PKIT and plugged at my new section house. Unfortunately it fail. Just got around 1-2Mbps download speed from 50Mbps.
Plugged at nearest wall from new section which is same line as modem, got almost full speed. haizz sad.gif

Probably a different phase over there. sweat.gif

Guess that's the only way you can do it, plugging it closest to your new extension.

Now my setup is a bit weird I set my powerline (Plug A) directly to unifi modem (internet output). Another powerline (Plug B) locate at the center of the house and connect to wifi router.
Before, my wifi router connect directly to modem. And surprisingly it works. I don't want mess up wires, so current setup is OK. although my tv not get full speed.

I don't see a difference spec wise but I always go for the latest hardware since it will receive more updates.

Search for it on Lelong and Lazada. Prices range from RM1215+ to RM1599, depending on seller.

Currently doing that. Totally possible. I don't even use the same model but they are all from TP-Link.

Just add the additional powerline adapter using the tpPLC app.
