Is it only 8% discount now for bare units?

Sorry for confusion, the last discounts quoted was
Fully furnished - 8% discount only
Bare unit - 20% discounts

I mean based on options above, the 12% difference is very huge, therefore if I am to buy, I take bare unit at 20% discounts.

I not sure if above (early 2020) promotion still stay the same until now, bcz I received promo of additional 2% discount if booking done during MCO period.

Went to the showroom 2 weeks ago. Initially, I thought to just go and take a look only coz it seems to be too expensive and beyond my budget... after looking at it, quite impress and after doing some calculation and all.... I paid for the booking fees! Pending for loan approval now... hehe

Serene is a good project. If youre ok with this part of PJ I think many other things tick the box.

620k onwards for smallest size, 2R2B

He is always commenting on Leasehold like he is going to live forever.

I not sure about the smaller units... and I can't give you the actual number also since it depends on the unit type and floor... for mine, I am paying more than 800k for my unit. Around 23% discount in total (+/-)...

Give it a go and visit their showroom. Hehe

I am not too sure why people keep saying do not buy leasehold especially for such project. I am buying for my own stay and not for investment... At least it give me a good feeling about this project for my own stay. Most importantly, me and my wife feels the same and we believe this will be a great home for us to start a family. Furthermore, it still has more than 90+ years, and I do not believe I will live for more than 100 years to see it being taken down. So, not a big issue for me... #yolo

I brought my gf see 6 properties, in terms of feel she still say serene is the best. But price wise and size wise really not worth it. But if within your budget and for own stay is definitely a good choice.

Worth it or not really depends on each individual. At one point, we have 2 choices with around the same price property....500sqft bigger but located at Segambut Dalam with some squatter houses around and has lesser facilities compare to Serene. Also, from a small developer and unsure how the project will turn out to be like. If we counting value per sqft, best just buy a landed house at Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam with even lower price than Sunway Serene.

Budget do play a part when comes to choosing a property for your own stay but you also need to consider the value for your long term stay there (location, surrounding, facilities, etc.) Sunway Serene, initially is above our budget a bit but we decided to go a step further since we really like it very much.

Anyway, good luck to you in looking for the right one ya~
