Agents can check if Unifi / Unifi Lite is available in your area. If it shows unfi/unifi lite is available and provided if there are ports available too then only they can key in to the system.

Is the Unifi Lite RM149 the fixed price? Do we have to pay extra for the HyppTv if we don't want to? Do you know when will this offer end?

When they are ouside ur house, u can just go ask and subscribe for lite, provided ur house is covered (got put up tent in front of ur house does not mean u can subscribe cos port might be full etc etc)

This website is asking for copy of NRIC, which is not required for application as TM shifted to thumbprint system. better be careful with what u give...

I think u can walk in to tmpoint and check with them. Last time my house also no coverage but neighbor got. Then I notice that one house behind my lorong install unifi and my house become covered (not sure whether they are related or not..). Might be because TM install one more new fiber termination point behind my house for that house. I will be the 2nd user of that fiber termination point..

Got an update. Available at limited areas in Kuching. Only RM149 allowed.

Are sure migrating from Streamyx 8Mbps to Unifi Lite have to pay the penalty fee if it still under contract?
I thought we don't have to pay penalty regardless of contract based from 1st page.

I dunno how they treat HyppTV contract though,
from what I know Streamyx & HyppTV termination fees are treated separately?

I went to TM batu lintang and ask, counter say at the moment only available for few selected areas.
mainly let 384k, 512k, 1m and 2m. streamyx 4m and 8m price too close to unifi lite they dont let me change to unifi.

The agent replied to me that:

Steamyx 8Mbps (RM140) ---> Unifi Lte (RM149)
No penalty

Steamyx 8Mbps (RM140) ---> Unifi Lte (RM129)
Pay penalty...

LMFAO i found it ridiculous but at the same time it also raise my worries as my application is almost same as yours.
Mine is 4mbps (RM130) -> LITE (RM129)
i bought up my order-ID to clarify with TM live chat again,
and yes once again they confirmed no penalty will be charged (they treat it as speed upgrade whatever their theory is)
if they're insisted penalty on your case,
then they're just being double standard ass.
did your agents say it's termination penalty or downgrade penalty? (huge diff price wise)

Difference stuff at TM serve you will have difference Style. same say yes, some say no......at last you and me also confuse. Some time they say can then you just try the luck may be is true.......But I don't think agent can help you on this, I need other agent to confirm too.

I already checked with TM Connects at twitter regarding with UniFi lite coverage and they said my area is covered.I confirm it back with my friend who is a worker for TM and also said my area is covered but somehow TM point won't let me subscribe due to it's line has not been activate yet.Can check once more LeonTan for my address..I don't know when will TM gonna activate this line..Currently on Streamyx 8Mbps btw.
