Im using maybank ikhwan petronas card. Say i want to buy phone priced RM2,000.
Can I pay partially RM1,000 by cash, and the rest RM1,000 will be paid by the 12 months installment plan? Or it depends on the merchant? |

But normally they will accept it.Can I pay partially RM1,000 by cash, and the rest RM1,000 will be paid by the 12 months installment plan? Or it depends on the merchant? They just accept the cash and swipe your card with remaining balance of RM 1,000, remember tell them you need to opt for installment. |

Suggest to exchange RM to the state's currency that you are travelling to. Credit card is only for emergency use. Mastercard would be having a lower foreign exchange rate. Remember to call bank and update them you will be travelling overseas, just in case your credit card is blocked from swiping from oversea. They might as well offer you temporary increase in credit limit too. |
