when u said " easiest to convert " ....

if u ask the sifu builder he will ask u what is your criteria etc etc....

so you have to know ' your stuff '

above pic of er6 z800 both requires sub frame cutting... custom tank, liquid cooled, so hv to hide coolant tank etc...

wana play custom bike... needs $$$ to make it looks nice.

start by asking local builders how much the cost to make "example of their work"

In Indon they don't have ruling like JPJ here or at least not enforced, while here.. you cut the frame or alter the engine mounting.. be prepared to face the Roadblock...

Do you believe this was a Kawa Z250?

Guys im in a dilemma between used street triple R 675 or used MT07. I fell in love with th whistling sound of the STR. I can imagine it makes me smile every morning when i start the engine of the 3 cylinder 675. Bike very light nimble and will be easy for my commute to KL. I have a hard time finding a used STR though, some got loan, some priced to high and new ones also not much discount from fast bikes.

Yesterday went to meru to check out used MT07. Lady at shop allow me to start engine and sit on it. The 2 cylinder crossplane sounds better than ninja 250/650. I researched online a bit and the bike seems to bring out the hooliganism in you. Probably bring out the dark side in me and wheelie in between cars at NKVE highway.

So now im torn between two. Market for 2016 mt07 around 25k while 2014-2016 str around 34-40k.

Any owners can share their ownership experience in terms of service / availability of spare parts.yamaha need to go sg buloh while triumph go to fast bike? Both ok?

Thanks guys

used mt09 can get below 30k is u slowly look. even cheaper oso if buy direct frm owner. mt07 should be priced lower used, but shop n seller still refuse to lower price. used z650 more features and newer than used mt07 oredi price lower 22k? one mudah ad. thts my market observation.

Initially was looking at MT09 as well but i think it is a bit overkill for my application. Didnt manage to hear stock exhaust but one fitted with racing muffler sounds too loud for me n my neighbour.

GSXR750-W series from the early-mid 90s, the cradle framed liquid cooled one just prior to the SRAD. Older oil-cooled ones also OK, but most are junked by now.

Already comes with low clip-ons. All you have to do is ditch the fairings, slap on a round headlight and sort out the rear seat.

These cradle-framed Gixxers were the original favourites for streetfighter conversions. Bike mags of the 90s were full of people stuffing the GSXR1100 engine into the 750 cradle frame and turning them into wheelie monsters called 7-Elevens.

This is the engine that should have gone into the TRK502.

There's supposed to be a Leoncino version that uses the same 750cc engine too.

That 750cc engine makes all the difference. 500cc taruk tepi...
