QUOTE(tgmape @ Oct 11 2018, 04:52 AM) Hi Guys, I am newbie to bike. need recommendation for moped bike to do daily weekday commute from nilai to klcc (around 45km 1 way). Thinking about Yamaha 135LC because no clutch and liquid-cooled engine (some say good for long ride) Do you guys have other suggestion? If u prefer no clutch kapcai, take either lagenda fi, dash 125 or sym sport rider. I suggest either one of these 3 despite smaller cc & still air cooled engine mainly because of these 3 kapcais are fuel injection. Believe me, with daily ride like yours, u wanna ride a fuel efficient kapcai. Lc135 is still using old technology, carburetor. U will fork out a lot of money for monthly fuel if u use lc135. U will save a lot of money for fuel using any of these injection kapcai. Plus, they got storage compartment under the seat which u can put your raincoat & other small items which is useful. Lc135 doesn't have this handy storage compartment though. Air cooled engine is still okay with your daily ride because u r still less than 70 km one way, just my opinion though. I have rode dash v3 and now dash 125, around 35 km one way daily ride to work, just less 10km from yours though..

Plus, he also said he wanna moped bike in the first place, so maybe he wanna a bike which can pasang bakul.. haha Anyway, I kind of agree with u fz150i is a better bike for long daily ride. But I personally also prefer moped because got bakul one, easy to buy groceries, go pasar malam, etc..

But upon checking fuelly, lc135 average fc is 45km/L. Still ok.

But I have rode lc v1 before with aggressive riding style, 80-100kmh speed, only 120km max one full tank I can get. My previous dash v3 & current dash 125 consistently can get 170km one full tank, with the same riding style, with fc rate at around 50 to 55 km/l... Hence the reason why I suggest him those three kapcais because of my own experience. I do like lc as well due to its power, liquid-cooled & no hand clutch, but I simply will not get it due to still using carburetor.. Honestly though, I will not return back to any carburetor type bike since I have experienced the good-ness of the fuel injection technology. haha

Somehow along the way you will have to go through highway right? either KL Seremban Highway or Lekas or somewhere.. Get the bike that can sustain at least the had laju kebangsaan 110 kmph and had some space to store your raincoat/helmet/lock etc (like top box or something) and protect you enough from elements, such as rain splash..flash flood with certain depth and stable enough to resist side wind and downdraft from bigger vehicle such bus or lorry. If you want to expand your choices, can get scooter such as GTS200 or NMAX Yamaha, or even those Honda PCX.. those are the alternate option which clutchless too...

Biggest fuel tank for moped - 5.2L that can go up to 300km per tank. Comes with under seat storage that can fit most full face helmet too. Else a scooter will do such as PCX. I have one too. Longer distance per full tank... up to 360km with larger under seat storage.

guys, wanna ask something
RS150R vs SYM VF3i
RS got 2 cams, VF3 got single cam
CC 150 vs 185
I used SYM vts for years now, reliable even as a scooter.
now want to have kapchai as my other option bike.
any user of VF3i can give their VF3i usage review?
I know the user review on RS, but cannot find enough info for VF3i for user long/mid/short term ride reviews.
it would be very helpful...thx

Based on the mentioned vlogger, the hp and torque is much higher than Y15. Since Y15 got better torque than RS, we can safely assume that the motor output is far better than RS. well, it got more cc afterall
