Yes, the spread is rather wide. Up to 2%

Example: Buy @ RM 273.03/g & Sell @ 247.38/g

Spread is only that big during weekends.

The spread is only about 5% during weekdays.

If you have GrabPay Plat tier, you get almost 2-3% in points back.

So it's worth to play in out during weekdays with GrabPay?
Earning GrabPoints (at Platinum) plus high cash back from credit card is worth to cover the 5% spread?

Credit cards know when you pay for grab rides and top up grabpay. They use diff merchant codes. Check with your bank.

HelloGold Is Better Than Public Gold? Well, Maybe

Many of us know that aside from being decadent (and sometimes, as kids today say, "extra") decorative items, gold is a very popular asset to invest in financially because its value does not fluctuate greatly over time and tends to increase generally.

However, that doesn't mean that you should just blindly invest in anything that identifies as gold - or anything that is just golden in colour, for that matter!

Like all other forms of investment, investing in gold requires research and understanding too. As always, Loanstreet's got your back in this area — which is why we've put together a table below comparing two leading gold investment platforms in Malaysia to help you out.

Only use Maybank Grab credit card with Grab Platinum Level can earn top up + spending reward equivalent to 5%.
It perhaps can void the 5% spread, depends on gold prices movement when you sell.

Gold vs. equities, which is better?

user posted image

With a rise of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia impacting on our local economy and widening restrictions in the USA weighing on Wall Street, how well will equities investments perform and which asset is better to accumulate during these trying times.

After speaking to a well known financial planning expert, Robin ran his own comparative analysis on how gold performs vs. 500&P and the KLCI.

Find out what his take on this is:

No change as for fee structure:
https://help.hellogold.com/en/category/fees/

Administrative Fee
We charge an annual administrative fee of 2% to keep your gold safe and secure. The fee is calculated daily and charged on a monthly basis. Should you sell your gold before the monthly charge period, your fee will be calculated based on the number of days you held your gold with us.
