Hi would like to ask hero postpaid plan 38 which comes with unlimited calls and 4gb internet
What if I exceed the 4gb quota ? Any additional charges ? Or I'll still enjoy free basic internet with slow speed ?

QUOTE(yweising @ Jul 8 2017, 12:30 PM) haha...digi postpaid was banned for the rest of my life d. i believe P1 has better & stable network compared to digi, because P1 network will never face congestion 480p is good enough for me on mobile while P1 can push 720p on my tv box. no point to watch 1080p on lousy 32" lcd tv p1 wimaX network shut down site by site. better & stable network depend on locations.

C'mon Android 4.1.2 is Jelly Bean and was released back in 2012.. Tons of OS specific improvements have happened since its release.. Phones running Marshmallow or minimum Lollipop are cheap today.. JB is considered obsolete. My 2 cents.

But no matter what, the UMobile app is still buggy.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jul 8 2017, 02:32 PM) Very true to that. But no matter what, the UMobile app is still buggy. Not buggy on mine.. Though I can see why it's buggy on others.. With any app, it's hard to please all Android users (huge and diverse).. Priority is key.. so if I'm on the dev team and we had to drop support for certain android versions, JB would definitely be off the table.. As there are certain security features they'd want to take advantage of and are only available on later Android versions.. Later they dev for JB and then one's payment or account gets compromised.. Flip table.. better it doesn't work.

But the problem is, there's no other alternative for unsupported platforms such as windows phone, old android and also PC. Why not upgrading the self portal so that we can check our data/voice/etc balance? Why Digi can? Unlimited Ideas my ass. Unlimited idea but dunno how to deal with compromises QUOTE(property direction @ Jul 8 2017, 04:52 PM) Exactly the same as mine This post has been edited by kroul2: Jul 8 2017, 07:47 PM

However, I also understand why something like that can (will) happen..easily. As per my earlier post. Oh well, we all know that umobile isn't a big gun...yet...as the other 3 telcos and it's only fair to see it spill into their tech support dept.. Tis the price of cheap no good, good no cheap.

I not so sure on MidNight consume data issue ... I did try unplug my iPhone before I goto sleep., Early.Mormijf the battery only drop 1%.
Why I need to know my how many gn I consume is because I want to know the usage pattern . Yes end of the month the bill will show me how many data I use up a month . But I prefer I can get to know daily in more real time way. This help me choose the right telco in future when I need to mnp over.
My digi pair with Android 1 month barely use up 2 GB data but my iPhone pair with Umobile is consume 10x more .
ok, found the way... actually just need to tap on the data icon it will show me my usage....

Migrated from Digi to U Mobile last month
It was a bad decision i guess. I switched it because I want to test the telco. After a week of using it, I realised that the internet coverage area is really worst than Digi.
I live in Klang, i use the internet around Klang, Setia Alam, Shah Alam and Damansara.
The most funny thing is when i'm near with Tropicana shopping area, I get E line. Seriously U mobile.
In the big city also failed to provide 4G connection.
Last time when I'm using Digi, all the area I mentioned I can get 4G speed all the time.

My location is almost same like urs & switched to Digi after the suffering for more than half years on degraded line quality of UMobile.

QUOTE(Radiant360 @ Jul 8 2017, 04:47 AM) Yes Facebook sound like unlimited is capped speed and all video streaming is capped at 1.5mbps. yeah I notice that, lucky there are some workaround for it that I am mostly happily using it right now. Still, line stability is a huge concern here, I believe the worst thing about uMobile is the tower hopping issue. You are standing at a spot where signal is decent, then you try to access internet, seems like it doesnt work you then notice your signal seem to be a little jumpy, from 4 bars to 2 bars and to 4 bars again. This is the situation caused because they only have low penetration frequency i believe, and i also heard complain about how Maxis is throttling their speed in favor for Maxis' own speed Hopefully the mass migration to 900Mhz in the near future will solve most of the line issue

Only one word, UMobile need to pull their act together and upgrade their network infrastructure.

The best decision made So many times we advise people to try out with prepaids first ... don't simply blindly mnp to here there everywhere just becoz of a good deal you're thinking it gives ... after mnp then only found out life sucks on the newly ported-in telco and start complaining ... sometimes I kenot brain how these people think ....

Ya, I agreed with you. Try out prepaid first. When I shifted to new housing area, I got mostly all prepaid to test out the signal. Surprisingly, Digi and Celcom is bad while Maxis and Umobile is good at my area.
