hi guys, just signed up for P78 unlimited hero, speed is quite nice for my usage, but I notice youtube app seem to be capped at a even lower speed. Anyone could verify this?

not quite the case I am in right now. I run speed test, and it works well, and getting stable 5mbps, i tried downloading some files from my house media server, i get ~5mbps speed, but when I use youtube and run a network statistic app in multi window mode, i see the speed hovering around 900+kbps ~ max of 1.4mbps, and it doesnt even exceed 1.4mbps at all. After that, I exit youtube, and run speedtest at the exact same spot, and I still get full 5mbps speed.
Looks like for P78 maybe the VideoOnz is forced onto the youtube app and I can only have enough bandwidth to stream 480p

yeah, problem is that I dont like how VideoOnz is forced on the plan, most people need unlimited internet for videos anyway, and limiting it to 1.4mbps max is kinda defeating the purpose. If I wan VideoOnz, i might as well sign up for their other plans. but meh, overall still think it's decent compared to my previous plan, where i probably bought like >RM150 worth of quota top up last month

yeah I notice that, lucky there are some workaround for it that I am mostly happily using it right now. Still, line stability is a huge concern here, I believe the worst thing about uMobile is the tower hopping issue.

You are standing at a spot where signal is decent, then you try to access internet, seems like it doesnt work you then notice your signal seem to be a little jumpy, from 4 bars to 2 bars and to 4 bars again. This is the situation caused because they only have low penetration frequency i believe, and i also heard complain about how Maxis is throttling their speed in favor for Maxis' own speed Hopefully the mass migration to 900Mhz in the near future will solve most of the line issue
