QUOTE(UN1T3D @ Jul 9 2017, 03:31 PM) So many times we advise people to try out with prepaids first ... don't simply blindly mnp to here there everywhere just becoz of a good deal you're thinking it gives ... after mnp then only found out life sucks on the newly ported-in telco and start complaining ... sometimes I kenot brain how these people think .... Well it's newbie mistake Don't think much, just jump first to take up the good offers.. Later think

I'm thinking of porting from umobile postpaid (U28) to prepaid (UMI30) simply because UMI30 gives more high speed data. If I port this weekend, how much should I pay for this month's bill? And is there any disadvantage of UMI30 over U28?
Thanks!

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Jul 8 2017, 07:42 PM) I agree on your points. But the problem is, there's no other alternative for unsupported platforms such as windows phone, old android and also PC. Why not upgrading the self portal so that we can check our data/voice/etc balance? Why Digi can? Unlimited Ideas my ass. Unlimited idea but dunno how to deal with compromises Exactly the same as mine +1 Unlimited Ideas my ass. totally make sense. it's stupid umo cannot login to check balance.

The main purpose of test prepaids is to determine if site coverage and site performance is acceptable for daily use. IF it is deemed to be good enuff THEN proceed with mnp ELSE chuck it. No one knows what's gonna happen 3 months down the road .... but this is definitely a practical way to know if the telco you wanting to jump into is good enuff in 80% of the place you go daily. Or you can join us in the 10+SO Club and always have coverage .....

Im really pissed of with Digi right now. digi and umobile abang adik, but whats good is normally either 1 is good in that area, normally digi sucks umobile good, or umobile sucks digi is good, but then still adviced to purchase a prepaid from any convenient store and try it out for few days then might consider to convert ur current number into umobile with me for discount

Ported out from Umobile to Maxis last Sunday, take MaxisOne plan Was a umobile user for six years from 2011 to 2017, here is what i think abt umobile advantage - super cheap and affordable - huge quota disadvantage - poor coverage - slow even on 4G network Hope Umobile will improve their service in future and thank you for making all other telco drop down their price last time..bye bye
