QUOTE(hoong2188 @ Apr 26 2017, 08:14 PM) Simple straight forward answer = WaitYour heart will scream so loud to get the accord now. You go and buy it. You'll definitely enjoy that moment. Yes I know the latest facelift looks nice, what more if you go all the way for the 2.4 variant. But come 6 months later, the 10th gen accord will be announced - with a new design, new interior, new digital instrument cluster, new efficient turbo engine (perhaps) with better FC, new gearbox, new technology. Totally refined in every single way. When that moment comes, you'll regret your current purchase and asked yourself why you couldn't wait just a lil bit more. You'll stuck with a fairly nice looking accord but inside is an old tech that was recycled since its iteration from 2004. You'll be stuck with it for the rest of your loan tenure, be it 3 or 5 or 7 or 9 years. Or you are actually a cash buyer then you can sell straight away lorr, but at the hit of a massive depreciation charge. Spyshots suggest that the next gen accord has that 'sportback' treatment as well, surely relatively better suited for younger execs compared to the past ones. |

Been eye-ing and waiting eagerly the new camry and new accord since my Honda City is barely fit in a family with 2 kids in car seat. Will more towards Camry after years driving Honda, I feel Toyota is much comfortable and NVH also better than Honda. Hope our UMW Malaysia not so cheapskate take out all the safety and features when comes to Malaysia
P/S 35 years old driving a Camry wouldn't considered Ah Pek right This post has been edited by franson: May 4 2017, 10:16 AM |

It's a good car but when I checked out other Accord drivers, they were all in their 50s. The Camry probably appeals to drivers a little older than that. P/S 35 years old driving a Camry wouldn't considered Ah Pek right If the Camry image bothers you, you could go for something trendier like the CRV or X-Trail. |

Hope our UMW Malaysia not so cheapskate take out all the safety and features when comes to Malaysia Accord and Camry have always been considered as the uncle car in Malaysia, for those uncles who can't afford BMW 5 series or Merc E class. It's the affordable D segment P/S 35 years old driving a Camry wouldn't considered Ah Pek right You can consider the Civic or Mazda 6 as it looks more sporty and premium than the other 2 mainstream. Why not SUV like Forrester or HRV or the new CRV or Xtrail? They all look so much better than the current Camry and Accord. Or you can wait for the new generation Camry and Accord which based on the online photo rendering look quite superb |

the new accord doesnt look that uncle anymore. Sigh, i seldom see youngster driving D seg, probably because of its price point and the design itself.

So don't make assumptions ! A towkay with RR and driver choose to drive an almera to morning walk! He can buy a fleet of that! if you ask me i'm torn too between this 2. i would look at mid-range Teana if comfort is your take and with 7 years warranty to back. then followed by Accord and Camry based on discounts given.

Many Ferarri and Lambo drivers in KL look like they in their 50s If the Camry image bothers you, you could go for something trendier like the CRV or X-Trail. I think doesn't matter how old u are. Buy a car that u can afford and meet your needs. |

The Teana is so old like it already obsolete in other markets. In Malaysia they give us Impulse bodykit and rim but pricey |

Gb n engine are always the one need tlc in the long run. I think all warranty also requires full service under the official service centers. |
