QUOTE(hoong2188 @ Apr 23 2017, 09:34 AM) Thank you all sifu ... Camry GX got new engine ? The 2.0 engine is called VVT-iW, originally from Lexus NX QUOTE The ability to run two types of cycles is something unique as the Atkinson cycle has only been used in the hybrid model petrol engines. So Toyota’s engineers have drawn on their vast experience in hybrid powertrains to improve the conventional engine. With the high compression ratio, the new engine generates 167 ps/199 Nm, a 13.9% increase in power over the previous 2.0-litre 1AZ-FE engine. Yet it is also claimed to be 16% – 20% more economical. http://www.motortrader.com.my/news/driving...yota-camry-2-0/Accord 2.0 still has the old SOHC engine and 5 speed, the same as the new Perdana 2.0. QUOTE(FlamingFox @ Apr 25 2017, 09:33 AM) Why not settle for Perdana 2.4 if you are only looking for just 2.0 in Camry/Accord due its price advantage? Because it is err.. a Proton? At RM138K OTR for a 2.4 D Segment, the Perdana should be selling like goreng pisang panas. External looks wise not too bad also. But I just dont see many of the new Perdanas on the road. QUOTE(roocarroll @ May 4 2017, 07:14 PM) I bought an Accord when I was 32. It's a good car but when I checked out other Accord drivers, they were all in their 50s. The Camry probably appeals to drivers a little older than that. If the Camry image bothers you, you could go for something trendier like the CRV or X-Trail. Many Ferarri and Lambo drivers in KL look like they in their 50s I think doesn't matter how old u are. Buy a car that u can afford and meet your needs.
