i think those yellow dots are ppl folding from their PS3

It says its those PS3 that is active. You can press square button and at the bottom left, it is stated there.

dem, i cant quit folding, then i press the PS button, quit game, now my PS hang liao

huh? how come? anyway i just notice something, when i start folding there's very small hissing sound from my ps3. when i quit folding, the hissing gone. is it just me or same thing happen with yours as well?

Just updated my PS3 to 1.6..

Couples of things I don't like
a) There is no way to kill a queue download job in Download manager.
b) When download from PS Store, there's not message say the download job being assign to download manager.
c) There still no way to manage (i.e remove, or move folder) downloaded contents, like movie trailer, or game demo..

zz you guyz so lucky my ps3 just could'nt update the firmware..
Here is my problem, after i downloaded the firmware from the web through my comp which i think is faster then ps3 and downloaded the file to my kingson thumbdrive.. load it to my ps3 , the ps3 jsut show there is no application to update the firmware.. haiz dont know what to do now.. some more the wifi connection is not easy to setup can any sifu teach me? how to do?

did you create an "UPDATE" folder?...if you didn't...u have to put the file in that particular folder theeeennn only ur PS3 will recognize it.

No u don't need a proxy server.
Remember these things are game consoles. They're not meant to be difficult to configure. Try not to complicate it for u'rself la.

Slap my own faces of saying wrong things, correction
a) To kill any queue download jobs, select the job you wants to kill, and press the ^ button..
b) To remove any unwanted downloaded content, again press the ^ button

availab on wsite already kah? seems like few of you have some prob with it already.

You can download using download manager http://djp01.ps3.update.playstation.net/up...0e/PS3UPDAT.PUP then make sure file 104MB transfer it to thumbdrive crate folder at main root PS3\UPDATE\ .

Or you can update direct from update firmware from ps3. I hope this well help you .

Yeah, I hear it too. I think it's the fan. As soon as you run Folding@Home, it will turn faster than usual.
