ok guys, it's pretty simple actually. here's what you need to do. To open port your PS3 connection, begin with;

1. Check ur PS3 IP address, boot ur PS3 and go to your Network Settings > Settings & Connection Status List. here you need to remember the numbers as you'll need to type this numbers to your router later on.



2. Once you're done with that, open your router settings (by default, most of the router address is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1). Currently i'm using Dlink DI-524 (wireless router & modem). Depending on what kind of router you are using right now, different router provides different names of 'Port Forward', as for my kind of router it's called 'Virtual Server'. Here i've added 3 more connections to open my PS3 connection without any restriction. These are the PS3 ports;


You can choose one of those ports given above. Save & reboot your router, you're done! Enjoy your blazing fast PS3 connection i hope this will solve your ps3 connection problem.

According to this list here, HBH-DS970 is not working with PS3.

just curious guys....what time usually u guys play online games eg Resistance or motorstorm?

i usually play resistance at night with the crappy tmnut punyer line. so far with this kind of line. No noticeable lag.

try dl the whole night but fail..... try few attemp using my pc. but always corrupted half way

You can download using download manager http://djp01.ps3.update.playstation.net/up...0e/PS3UPDAT.PUP  then make sure file 104MB transfer it to thumbdrive crate folder at main root PS3\UPDATE\ .

Or you can update direct from update firmware from ps3.  I hope this well help you  .

yesterday saw u guys playing with motorstorm.... so sad... i can only see ur status, but kenot join....

Happen to me before, to switch from normal AV to HDMI, u needs to connect both your normal AV and HDMI to your LCD.

After you change the system video setting to HDMI, ensure you selected correct resolution.. (For Samsung R7, I believe the Max is 1080i)..and apply change, after that..
remember to turn your TV source to HDMI.
