Hi all Gurus

Just got my PS3 Asia 60GB version today, having problem to setup PSN ID, could any one help me on the following questions

1) I choose US as my country, and it always fail on register US address.. Do I really needs a valid US address to register?

2) Which country work best with Malaysia HSBC credit card?

3) I do needs to register first before I can download any things from the PS Store, right?

Still Confuse....
What I understands now is (After digesting all the posts)
a) If I created Singapore Account, I could only download PS3 Asia Content only. If I wanted to have US Content, I needs to create a US Account? The same apply if I wants to have Japan Content..

b) Does all ID (Singapore, US, or Japan) require credit card verification?

c) When u say Singapore more cheaper...can u give me some example? i.e Tekkan 5 price

d) To play online game (Resistance, Motors,) you needs a PS ID, right?

Just updated my PS3 to 1.6..

Couples of things I don't like
a) There is no way to kill a queue download job in Download manager.
b) When download from PS Store, there's not message say the download job being assign to download manager.
c) There still no way to manage (i.e remove, or move folder) downloaded contents, like movie trailer, or game demo..

Slap my own faces of saying wrong things, correction
a) To kill any queue download jobs, select the job you wants to kill, and press the ^ button..
b) To remove any unwanted downloaded content, again press the ^ button

Happen to me before, to switch from normal AV to HDMI, u needs to connect both your normal AV and HDMI to your LCD.

After you change the system video setting to HDMI, ensure you selected correct resolution.. (For Samsung R7, I believe the Max is 1080i)..and apply change, after that..
remember to turn your TV source to HDMI.

Can a Asian PS3 play region1 BlueRay Movie? Tempted to get few BlueRay from Amazon.

Anyone having problem to connect to PSNetwork after upgrade firmware to 1.8? When try to sign in, it always promoted me a DNS error, follows by serious of error code. although I still can browse the internet using build in internet Browser, funny.

My guess is Sony agree partner with Nintendo, and launch Wii module plugin
(Sensor Bar + New Controller), PS3 owner will able to play existing Wii games and PS3 games.
