ok guys, it's pretty simple actually. here's what you need to do. To open port your PS3 connection, begin with;
1. Check ur PS3 IP address, boot ur PS3 and go to your Network Settings > Settings & Connection Status List. here you need to remember the numbers as you'll need to type this numbers to your router later on. ![]() 2. Once you're done with that, open your router settings (by default, most of the router address is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1). Currently i'm using Dlink DI-524 (wireless router & modem). Depending on what kind of router you are using right now, different router provides different names of 'Port Forward', as for my kind of router it's called 'Virtual Server'. Here i've added 3 more connections to open my PS3 connection without any restriction. These are the PS3 ports; QUOTE What ports need to be opened for the PLAYSTATION(R)Network? TCP: 80, 443, 5223 UDP: 3478, 3479 for voice chat, UDP: 3658 ![]() You can choose one of those ports given above. Save & reboot your router, you're done! Enjoy your blazing fast PS3 connection This post has been edited by squiggles: Mar 18 2007, 09:14 PM |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Mar 23 2007, 02:40 PM) Anyone for Motorstorm/Resistance LYN-style tonight? I could set up the proper rooms/sessions if needed, but we need to agree on the time. Have yet to have the full experience with PS3 folks in LYN. Does everyone have bluetooth headsets, coz it would be more fun listening to the trash talk during the killings in Resistance or the car-wrecks in Motorstorm. string, i'm ok for tonight but im not sure about the others. currently i dont have any BT headsets Can only manage tonight, im working tomorrow. QUOTE(rx330 @ Mar 23 2007, 02:40 PM) like tis ar... i gues smine have to wait next week liao... same date shipped out, but im in jb... therfore...have to wait for them to send down, then sorting, fastest also monday liao thx. oo, i didn't know you live in JB. well, just be patient k? im sure you'll get it soonwill add u in tonite |

In the menu there is an option to toggle the FEEDBACK STRENGTH, however it seems to apply only to wheel peripherals for the time being. taken from MAXCONSOLE |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Mar 25 2007, 06:47 PM) Dinner now, just finish TMNT. VERDICT? IT's a STINKER! Maybe because this movie is post-Shredder conflict, but even the CGI quality is disappointing. Since when did April become an artifact hunter? Wasnt she a reporter? WTF is with her having ninjalike powers? The dialogues make you cringe, yuck! is TMNT that bad? from the trailer i saw, i thought this movie was gonna be good. thx for for the info string, but i think i still gonna watch this movie, just wanna kill my curiosity. Anyway im ready for the next Motorstorm session. at the same time i've got myself BT headset too, it's Sony Ericsson HBH-610a. Works flawlessly with PS3, and it'll auto pairing too. Had a short video chat (with my Xbox live vision camera) session with my friend in S'pore and he was able to hear my voice clearly and there was no lag at all. hey string, does the PS3 Stand With blue LED that you saw there look like this? LINKHopefully Hot Fuzz will wash this bad taste the TMNT movie left in my mouth. The accessories available here for PS3 are PS2-to-PS3 controller converter, PS3 Stand With blue LED, and Sixaxis desktop charger. All look uninspiring to warrant a purchase.
