nokia N series are running on symbian S series platform while SE P series is on Symbian UIQ platform. same foundation architecture but different platform, they are not compatible.

normal symbian software have different version for s60 and the UIQ, so you have to make sure that u get the correct version.

You're rite about this but you need to take note that SE P990i, W960i, M600i P1i, etc are running on the latest UIQ3 platform so the previous UIQ apps or games will not work.*edited : correct me if i'm wrong |

The guy from the shop introduced this phone to me when I bought my N95. I fiddled around and the interface, touch screen are very well built. If only it had 16 million colours and a better camera, I'd go for it.
