Well i bet that you can't get a P1i for RM2000 even after 6 months that it have launched...
P990i now also we can't get it at that price...
It have better specs than P990i in every aspect...
It meant to tackle P990i problem... They have more RAM n ROM...

This mobile is in my shopping list... I'll see how it goes B4 CNY next yr...
I skipped P990i or M600i which in my CNY shopping list b'coz i shopped for other gadgets...
So i'll aim for that... hope that my new phone can lst me 3 yrs... like my K750i...

Maybe the RM 3,999 P1i for sale is a prototype which is not supposed to be for sale.

Wow, just sold a few units P1, the P1 is even more heavy than P990i.
and the start-up loading time is even slower than P990i

i couldn't agree more.

seriously, the P990i at its release did piss a lot of people off which had faith in SE. the P990i was completely rubbish during release, and should not even hit the market. basically, an unfinished product which had not gone through thorough testing. only later they managed to come out with a stable firmware to render the phone usable but at that time people would already have sold off their useless p990i because they were so darn pissed off, i doubt those people will ever bother buying an SE smartphone again.

Yeah me too...... had a shock to find out that my P990i is worst than my old P900i. Luckily when I bought it, the price of P990i has dropped to a thousand plus. I'm quite hesitated to give P1i a try unless of course, I get to test it for a week. Hopefully, some of my friends will buy it. I wouldn't want to be the guinea pig again for this model.
Guess, that the phone is not in demand. Hopefully, we'll see the price drop here in Malaysia soon. This will spell trouble for the ori sets if the price for AP ones keep on dropping. I'm pretty sure the ori sets will be priced close to RM3K and this has been so for the previous models.

P1i.. Miri so far no1 choi it la.. ordered 1 set throw there nobody bothers to test it also.. all aim p990i if not get dopod, htc or o2 oredy..

hi ppl.. managed to play around with the P1i here today as i dropped by a mobile phone shop @ my area...

some quick comments:-
-Wifi seems ok, detected and connected w/o probs, tried a few times
- camera's auto-focus doesn't have the box like the K550
- a little sluggish menu response compared to the P990i? ( my fren who is with me was testing out P990i)
- the half-qwerty keyboard takes a little while to get used to.. one hand typing is possible i suppose...
- weird placement of "back" button at the side, beside the jog dial...

is it here yet???
