I am just wondering if anyone knows about the PETRONAS LNG train project ? Can you please enlighten me ?

Recently was told I might get some small tasks related to this project, was kinda blurred.

Awal Muharram for this year is on Tuesday. Some people take a day leave on Monday and they have like a 5-day holiday.

It has nothing to do with a keretapi, that's for sure. An LNG Train is the term used for the LNG Plants currently on-stream in MLNG. I think they have up to Train 9 (9 plants or something like that).

Thanks, just Googled ,the MLNG operates in Bintulu , Sarawak . But my assignments most likely gonna be at Pasir Gudang.

when will your 6 months probation's end? just asking, since I'm also still under probation, until next January 2014 (if the probation is 6 months).

Hi i applied for entry level in petronas back in like early august thru discover petronas website and still waiting =.=. is there anyway to make the HR dept work faster? how can some people apply later than me get interview faster T_T

there are thousand of applications went thru petronas discovery everyday (local and international). Mostly HR will scan randomly the CV based of the qualification or scope of work required. I would suggest you keep on updating your CV into petronas discovery. Try to use advance words and details explanation.

btw, i'm not petronas HR, just work with them

Finally, I got some kind of feedback from PCSB HR!

The guy asked for documents and then he said it is up for

management approval. Does that mean it is guaranteed for me

to be hired or otherwise?

Or still long way to go?

If you don't screw up that much and you shows some initiative (asking for projects or asking for training), you should be able to get the confirmation letter on time (I think).

Does anyone know whether there is housing allowance provided for those working in bintulu. Will be going there soon and I've heard the rent there is quite expensive. Even more expensive than in KL. Hope someone can clarify on this.

petronas working culture is like government la. mess up many times also won't get terminated.

those who don't get confirmed are normally those with discipline problem (datang lambat, always MC, etc.)

as long as you do what you've been assigned to you'll get your confirmation letter. u don't have to be extraordinary to 'survive' in this company.

They will not respond even if we have their contact number or email. Best bet is to submit your CV via the Discover Petronas website.
