QUOTE(azraeil @ Mar 6 2013, 05:51 PM) So did the doctor say everything was okay? Ohh better "hand deliver" the results so there won't be any excuse ..."Ohh we never receive it" ... all result need to be hand delivered to HR...on medical result, everything is OK, just some thing need to take precaution such as high BMI and high BP... |

Ahh, high BMI ...... so you need to exrcise some more. I was watching the news the other day and the scientist in the UK has found out that fasting 2 days a week will make you super healthy and reduce all the risks associated with obesity etc. As for High BP, eat less sugar and apparently drinking coffee will temprarily increase your BP so did you drink coffee before doing the checkup (then again, you should not be drinking anything other than water before the checkup for the blood test I mean).Anyway, good luck and keep us updated. |

QUOTE(yogurt7 @ Mar 6 2013, 09:05 PM) Thanks bro. Prince Court actually emailed the conclusion to Petronas HR and sent the full hardcopy later.QUOTE(kripton888 @ Mar 7 2013, 01:54 PM) They provide you a referral letter to a specific medical centre so you can't go anywhere else, and it is only their panel.I've seen a lot of people here being sent to Pusrawi, rarely to Prince Court like me. Even then the doc told me that he is sent about 200 new employees for assessment every month, so that's Prince Court alone you can imagine how many overall. The attrition rate in Petronas is disturbingly high, either that or they're just rapidly growing. This post has been edited by aiman04: Mar 7 2013, 02:30 PM |

You know what. I actually received my medical letter 2 days ago but I didnt realize until today. U know why? they sent it to the wrong email address. It should be @ymail not @ gmail. luckily I got same email ID for both gmail (my old email) and ymail( my current active email). And alhamdulillah I did notice on the email because I need to find something regarding my works.
However, there is one more problem. Soon after I read the email, I call the IPOH SPECIALIST HOSPITAL-( the panel hospital where i should do my medical check up) to check how many hours required to complete all the procedure. However, the p.i.c there told me that the machine for the offshore medical checkup( idk what does it called) just broke down and need to be send for repair (cannot be operate until further notice). Immediately I call the HR but u guys should know that it is almost impossible to get them on line. Alhamdullillah after 30 minutes of non-stop calling every single number of Petronas HR that I know, someone answered. Now I need to wait until tomorrow for me to get new medical letter. |

QUOTE(yogurt7 @ Mar 7 2013, 04:06 PM) Most people I know gets the offer letter the next working day, because usually once they sent you for medical they already have the offer letter ready, just holding for the medical result. But my case is different, I only receive news a week after, even after I emailed her asking about it. Considering you're being handled by the same person as me, I'm not sure. Maybe you get it today, maybe in a week. Contact her if you don't heard anything after a few days. |
