Bezza Start/stop function can not permanently turn off. Mine works fine as average it will last around 60 sec or more before engine restart. Few criteria as below will determine when the car will restart.
1. Aircond temperature setting and blower speed. if interior cabin temperature is below you set then it will start the car
2. Car must be in "D" or "N" and break must be press all time. If you lift the break or change to "P,3 or 2" then car will restart
3. Do not move the car steering or it will restart
4. Battery level low. Let say your car use alot of electrical stuff (dash cam, radio, charger ETC) it will drain the battery quicker when you stop thus your stop time will cut short.
As the link share bu "heero yu"
Using a conventional battery in an Idle Stop Start system could potentially damage the vehicles electrical system and lead to premature battery failure.

like it or not, the battery will need to be start stop battery, use normal battery and it will fail in short term. costing you more than the start stop battery. eco idle usually wont activate in hot sunny day as it is hot. night time you might get a better chance that it activates longer.

you sure your friend change to this battery? the CCA and AH is so high. If not mistaken the system need to re-enter some value so that the electrical system able to recognize the battery capacity, thats what i know about smart charging system.
Hey guy so what is the lifespan of this start stop battery??? When should be expect to change it?
