Hi does ur tire hit the fender when full load? I am also considering 185/55/55R... Not sure which size is better... How many percent improvements u will rate after upgrading? Thanks
*
I've upgraded my Bezza's rim to Alza S rim and used 185/55R15. Car handling improved significantly compared to the original setup. Higher stability on high speed and sharper cornering due to thinner tyre sidewall.

Fuel consumption difference between the original 14" wheels compared to Alza's 15" wheels is little to no difference; 50% city and 50% highway on original 14" wheels, I can get about 17.2km/L, and for Alza's 15" rims, I've just refuel my car full just now, and my fuel consumption calculation turns out to be 17.1km/L.

Overall very satisfied with the rim upgrade, except I should've went for Alza's SE rim instead, I think it could've match with my car's colour. cry.gif

You can head to Weng Choon Tyre Service @ Taman Segar Perdana, Cheras. They have the SE variant rim, ready stock. Any takers for the silver one? tongue.gif

I believe they'll find a reason to void your suspension warranty shall issue arise. I'm not very sure though. Have to check with Perodua service agent when my car is due for servicing.

Hi guys, I got a repair question for you. I got into a little accident earlier and the lower right part of the front bumper got damaged.

Should I claim my insurance to have the front bumper fixed/replaced or should I not claim and have it fixed by bringing to a body repair shop myself?

Thanks!

Not worth to claim insurance for a bumper.
Even you replace the whole bumper it still cheaper than your NCD. Unless your car no NCD la

I wanted to install 55 at first, but the shop guy said the tires might touch the arch on full load. So I chose 50 instead.

According to the Sales Agent, tarring is an old practice that no longer required for "modern" cars as they had already treated the underfloor area with anti-rust. But the sight of naked metal seriously did not instill any confidence in me. I did it at a workshop in Alor Setar, but I think it could be done at any car bodywork workshop. You might get it done even cheaper at lorry bodywork shops I think. But, from my observation, their works are a bit shoddy and they use lower quality tar.

i got the same answer from sc fellow when i ask them why new P2 models are having paint colour underbody as oppose to old tarred ones. SC does sell the tar sealant as well, but i didn't ask how much it is. As my dad's alza is tarred.

Correct 1500 discount applicable to pre PI (prior to 15/4/17) model i.e., 1.3 premium X (1700 for AV). Few branches n dealers still have balance1 or 2 units. Mainly ocean blue color. Might get more discount (1200) if u tekan the SA harder.

I'm pretty sure that the paint colour underbody is not an issue, it's more on us that we cannot accept the wheel arch not being black. tongue.gif

Anyone upgrade bezza audio system? Will void warranty?
If add amplifier, speaker and player, the volume switch on the steering wheel still will function?
